I like it!
I think it's hot!
I hate Corvettes.
I've owned 2
Sounds like the best dad ever. I don't think you're looking at it from the proper perspective. . .
Depends on if he would give you the keys to the shaggin wagon.
On that noted I did but a 3 seater station wagon off my pops when I was like 17......man if that car could talk
I threw a mattress in the back of my '84 Mazda B2000 pickup and parked it behind the K-Mart. I'm a romantic.
I bet you let your dates "super-size" that extra value meal at McDonalds too, you overachiever. Guys like you skewed the curve for the rest of us cheapskates.
I'm a gentleman. I let them buy whatever they have the money to pay for.
Back in the early 80's I test drove a 1974 454, it handled like a dump truck and was only slightly faster.
Well played, sir.
We are retiring in 1-2 years and I may take that opportunity to get another sports car. Might be a good time to pick up a 3 year old car.
You what Bill says.....

Damn! All this Corvette talk has got me Jonesin'!!! :eek1
THIS would be fun:
1974 L-48 4-speed A/C convertible!
There's that plastic fantastic hideous '74 back bumper I remember. Same color Dad had, too.
You know, I think that one looks better than the 2014.
I know I'd rather drive it than the 2014 !!!
I don't like Corvettes, never have. They scream tacky lower-middle-class moustache to me. I cringe whenever I see some piece of shit '94 Corvette or whatever hit the Flea Market. Shudder. Even the newer ones have missed the mark, IMO -- they're just so fuckin' American. Red. Raunchy. Hunchy. Fuckin' FAT. Obese.
but this new one actually looks like a modern sports car (we'll ignore the red paint press photos and camaro rear lights and pretend they only come in gray)
I'm glad GM finally decided to try to sell the Corvette to someone like me, not just fuckin' Ron Swanson
Very nice. I would rather have one with the Kamm tail but I could live with the 5 mph bumper.
Yeah if it was a 74 that thing had about 900lbs more motor than suspension for it. The last 454 was a 1971 ZR2 (and talk about fucking RARE).
So that car was a shadetree job by someone that didn't know much about suspension.....or engines.
A guy down the road was selling a 2004 Z06 for 17 grand. If I had somewhere to put the damn thing......
