Took a look at GPSKevin's tracks for what he calls "New York Section" because they would most useful to my plans. Seems that I have ridden sections 2 - 5 without realizing it because when I rode them they were called the TET. They follow TET-9 and TET-10 very closely if not exactly.

Your gpx file looks the alpha numeric symbolic code that gets interpreted by a device. And it goes on forever. Do you have a more practical link to download and view the tracks?

So after jumping through a few hoops I was able to convert that endless list of code into a viable gpx file. It opens up on my GPX viewer app on my android phone. Looks like two different routes, both heading in an east and west direction but north and south of each other. Which route has what to offer?? Dirt roads, back roads, scenery, etc. ??

Both the north route and the south route have a variety of dirt roads, paved roads, hills, rivers and good stuff.
I mapped out and rode both in case one was better than the other, but both have good stuff as it turned out.
So I posted both.... and that gives you the option to ride a loop!
I liked one side better that the other, then I had MoBill do a check ride and he liked the other side better.
Hummm.... so go ride it and decide for yourself!

Oh, getting the file as an endless stream of gobbly gook is a function of your browser - it was talked about quite a bit a couple of years ago, don't hear about it much lately so most people seem to have figured it out.

Hard to say, it's as much dirt as I could reasonably string together.

    Time wise, it's probably 50/50.

Even the paved stuff is reasonably fun.

    Thanks for making this available...

I have a huge trip coming up in 2020 - Philly to the TAT, TAT to completion. Now I'm gonna use this Northern Route to get myself back to the east coast.

Ok so a friend and i just finished up riding most of this, the riding was great and the tracks worked wonderfully. There were 2 closures that i recollect and we rerouted easily.

Thank you for the great riding.

I laid that out and rode it in 2013.
I have had a couple of other people ride it to check it over for me since then.
But I haven't taken the time to go and re-ride it - too many other things I've been riding/working on.
Glad you enjoyed it, glad there was only a couple of re-routes.
One of these days I'll get back out there again....

It takes 2-3 days... look at the tracks, you can see the mileage there.

Dropbox changed things and broke my links to everything.
I'm made new links to the DOC, GPX, and GDB files.
Trying to figure out how to fix the pictures.
