Not bad for a WAG but you're headed the wrong direction.
If Prichard is the wrong direction, Dobson Pass is getting closer and was accessed indirectly through Kingston, I am stumped. Is that a road and town in the lower right or a waterway and clear-cut area? It is hard to see in the pic.
I know, but don't have any fresh pics at SmugMug, so I'm disqualifying myself.
It's good to get out of the desert for awhile.
Here's another picture from the area and maybe you can see that open area a bit better.
I figure you would know where it is.
You know you can use old pictures
Osburn? I give up.
Am I going to have to dig out another picture?
Oh hell, I'm heading out of town and won't be able to post a photo, so if I'm correct Ladybug's still on the hook, but I think it's Mullan.
I don't have many photos from the northwest. I figure if I want to see something again I'll just go back.
Lamotovita came up with the correct answer. The open space below is Mullan. I went through Burke to get to get to that place and came back down in Mullan.
Burke is fun to see it's now a ghosttown after years of mining history.
Since Lamotovita threw the ball back to me I'm off to see what I can find. I'll be back.
I'm back and we're going to stay in the mountains and a picture from a few years ago.
What's the name of this road
Kleinschmidt Grade near the top headed toward Cuprum? Bike is going down the grade to Snake.
Or bike is coming down Redmond Grade toward Troy..
Or I do not have the slightest idea!
No and no (gravel?) :huh
I know someone knows this road. Keep the WAGs coming.
Since that picture doesn't really give you much to go on I'll add one looking the other direction, where the bike is pointed. Maybe this will help.
Wherever it is, I want to go there!
I used a GPS to find it
Stay tuned I'm sure someone will come up with the correct answer soon and you can add it to your list of places to ride.
Not Baldy Pass but now I have Baldy Pass on my list of places to ride.
