Not Pyramid Pass.
Give it another try.
I'll throw a Magruder WAG...
Nope that's not it either.
It is in Idaho though.
No idea, but I bet it is well south of I-90.
Yes it's well south of I-90 and it's not quartz street.
Road 340 between Warren and Yellow Pine
Not Warren to Yellow Pine either.
Keep trying, don't make me go find another picture.
The 221 around where the big switchbacks are just north of the Main Salmon River ??
That's not it, there is a river down there but it's not the Salmon.
That's your hint for the day.
Reminds me of the Old Greer Grade.
It looks like another clue needs to be thrown out to keep this thread moving.
I'm now on a paved road looking across the river at the gravel road I had been on. The road has the same name as the tiny town along the river near the bridge. Actually it's not much of a town but it has a dot on the map.
Is the paved road Rt. 3? It looks like the Kendrick area.
You're getting closer. The paved road has the same name as the dirt road.
He he, can be said for over 300 Idaho "towns."
Somehow I missed The Tourists post this morning. Sorry about that Dick.
You've got it, it's Greer Grade on the other side of the river of the paved Greer Grade everyone seems to ride.
OK Dick you're up.... Pull something out of your archives and show us something fun.
Name the road
