Looks like I have a stumper.
Clue #2...The name of the town come up with research of Glacial Lake Missoula Floods.
Not Clark Fork.
Not Davenport, but thanks for playing.
Remember the clues. one side of the road...goes all across the state...etc.
I've got people searching all over the place.
Next Clue...Lewis and Clark camped here for 3 days. And This area was claimed by the British a few years later.
Kamiah ID - If I'm correct my sweetheart may take my turn.
NOT washougal, kooskia, ahsahka, spalding or kamiah. All, so far away.
Next clue. There was a fort here. and,,, this two lane hwy runs from the Pacific to way back East, like maybe Detroit.
Maybe Hiway 20?
Maybe old Fort Boise, Parma, ID
Just guessin ??
Not Parma. Lewis and Clark didn't get anywhere close to Boise.
Well, Rt. 12 goes all the way to Detroit, and Fort Fizzle is on Rt. 12, and is not far from the path of the Lake Missoula flood, and Lewis & Clark of course went right through there, so my guess is Lolo.
