A nice long North / South ridge Rd. that looks like it would be lots of fun to ride would be the NF Rd. 62 which turns into 6220. Now I have to go back and see where that Rd. comes out at the South end! :D So many roads and so little time....

Don't have a bench mark map for the road name, but that is either 62 or 6220. Is it Pt. Prominence rd? I know that is a picture of Backbone ridge in that one picture. I have packed horses over that ridge to Reds Horse ranch.

I grew up on a Mill Creek Rd. That ain't the one I grew up on. Similar in the first two pics,
but MY Mill Creek isn't as deep a canyon as Katy's pic #3.

Isn't there like, at least 5 Mill Creeks in EVERY Western State?

I'm gonna venture that pic #3 takes us past Central Oregon and into Eastern somewhere.

I woulda got the Troy Ford of the John Day, but I was on that ride so,...disqualified.
I sure do like that pic of that curvy road down to the river.
I was kinda busy riding on that loose gravel & dirt road that I never looked down to see the view of it.

But that shot ^^^^^^ is Little Crater Lake just off FS58, just 10 miles or so from Timothy Lake.
Gotta get that before Katy looks it up on you and CC's Bend trip RR.

Fun thread, I knew that was Little Crater Lake, but was looking for a good picture, I find most of my images are too easy like the painted hills, too hard like a 1940 International truck hub cap out in the desert somewhere, or being a wetsider they look like the same dirt/gravel/paved twistie section and could be most any road.

That folks are honest and disqualify themselves if they were on the ride when the picture was taken. I like it! :shog

Have you ridden Mt Hood FS Rd#2660 to get to get to 58? It looks interesting. :evil BM Map #49

I also think it's interesting that we are native Oregonians and appear to have ridden more of the neighboring states than our own, you guys cover country I've never seen before! However that Troy Ford name I couldn't find anywhere, had the resort to RR search. I went to bed last night, didn't give that picture a thought, figured you or someone else would get it. Now I have a new place to check out! :clap

The only clue here for now is......it's NOT in Craig's neighborhood :lol3

If you've been here, you'll recognize this spot.
Name the road (road NAME and forest rd #) and this location on that road.

I won't be able to check back in until about lunchtime, so...have fun !!
