Looks a lot like Upper Payette Lake, but I don't think it is. I'm sure I'm going to go :dohwhen the location is revealed.

Well by gum it's Loon Lake. I looked at that earlier and I didn't think it looked right either. But that picture gives it away.

Edit: Loon Lake near Warren, Idaho.

Yes, that picture is indeed the give-away. The first one was taken closer to the site of a January 1943 B-23 Bomber Crash.
Here's a good read with photos: The B-23 "Dragon Bomber" Crash Site and Wreck

And here's my ride report on another forum (hope that's not against the rules).

Trailrider: show us a good one.

Name the town that is out of sight on the left side of the picture.

Okay, Crashclay helped with getting the last one so she picked out one of her photo's. We need to get out and start riding again so we can get some new photo's that we have not posted! :D

Looking for the name of the road. And we have bets going on who gets this one first! And then I'm going to "try" and stop looking at this thread! :bert

You got it! It's at the South end just before you hit 74. Some great riding out there and it was real fun going though Nolin, we have never seen so many baby lambs ever! We rode Alkali Canyon South but do you know if Slusher Canyon goes though to Butter Creek? When the weather gets a little better we are coming back out to ride more of your neighborhood. :D

I am at work, when I get home I will check on Slusher canyon. I do not think it does though. PM us when you are getting ready to ride.

:thumb :thumb The Maps show it going though but when we were in Butter Canyon I never saw were it came out, just thought it might be one that you had been on.
And a note to all, The H&P Cafe in Echo has great food!
