Nice picture, looks like a Garden gate model 7, with an Inter front hub/brake unit:clap

I've had a very large print of this ad on my wall for many years. It's from Two Wheels magazine of September 1969.

I'll drop a cut of the lady up in 'Girls on old Motorcycles'.

If anyone wants a huge (12500x8500 pixel, 15mb) copy of this ad suitable for framing click here and save the file.

Last summer I succumbed to the Norton spell and found this for sale about an hour away. I had to have it.

The tank needed a serious cleanout as it had been sitting half full of gas for the past five years. I'm looking forward to rolling it out this spring and giving it a good thrashing.

Thanks :clap I had a first year fastback for a short time before the financial realities of being newly wed and in college forced me to sell it :(:

Attended a Norton Rally on my Combat in the weekend, good turnout.
Mainly Commandos, few featherbed ones, rotary and a Model 18.
    From Concourse to well used.
The Rotary was interesting, original owner, unusual sound, more 2 stroke than 4.

Just about every pic here has been a "real" Norton...however I do like the old singles and rare birds. P92 prototype here.
