I designed a beautiful seal driver for my F650 out of 2" schedule 80 PVC pipe but I had the shop where I work put the pipe on a lathe and turn 3/4" of the end down to the perfect diameter for my seals. It was too big without doing so.

If you're looking for stock sized PVC to potentially be used as a driver don't forget to check PVC couplings and plastic electrical conduit as well since the electrical conduit comes in different sizes than PVC pipe for water, etc.

I use all of above (PVC is simply awesome) but in some cases I purchased proper drivers.

I also use PVC plumbing pipe or electrical conduit to modify spring rate by cutting off section of spring and installing PVC spacer, just pulled apart my race bike fork that was done in 1999 and PVC spacer is still in tact.

That's fine for conventional forks, but upside down forks, need a split design. That's why I cut a small piece out of the old seal for my KTM. I made a nice driver for my DR650 out of plastic pipe stock. I had to put it an the lathe and do some customizing.

That place reminds me of our loop in Windsor, It has maybe 5 rocks in it, all loam, sand and hills. 5 miles of work out bliss. We would do it forward and backwards.. Now ABB wants to build 3200 homes and a shopping center... So they threw us out...:(

That phillips screw can be replaced with an air bleeder. Removes any air pressure.
