I will, thanks. Maybee your right but it's the pain that keeps me up. I'de rather take the ambien and get off the narcs anyway.
I've found its better to just stay awake and avoid the nightmares:eek1

Cleared my glauc right up!
I was in Otis, MA Sunday and there's more than enough for snowmobiling. There were sleds everywhere and the Reservoir was still safe with no open water even along the edges. We won't be riding up there till June.
Ambien is weird. The way it works is it blocks the receptors that are responsible for connecting conscious and unconscious part of the mind. If you do wake up or are interrupted during sleep you act like a freak zombie. Ive seen my wife wide awake walking around the house seemingly wide awake and in a dream state at the same time holding full detailed conversations with her dream. I threw it right in the garbage and after I told her what happened she mentioned that I had some very strange behavior while "sleeping" on ambien too. We have since found better ways to get a full nights sleep. Sucks to be in pain and some things cant be avoided or done when injured but the best thing to do is try to get tired with exercise or whatever does it for you, she reads, I read motorcycle forums. Right now Im passing a kidney stone and I wouldnt wish this pain on my worst enemy, tons of pain killers, trying not to nap all day and keeping busy so I sleep when Im supposed to with a good 5 or 6 hours straight have been working ok for me. Even with all the threads to read on here it doesnt keep me busy enough and I still find myself not getting the sleep I need. You guys need to post more stuff
Dirty Joe kicking ass at the Spring Challenge Harescramble on Sunday.
I don't want to jinx it, but the weather forecast looks great for this weekend.
This pic was taken at round 1 of the Virginia Hare scrambles series the same day as the previous picture.
Seems like the weather is upside down.
I ride street bikes, dirt bikes, quads, and sleds, and snowmobiling puts more smiles per mile on my face. The pace you can run and the distance you can cover on a good day with decent conditions is amazing. All the trails being legal and marked, and the locals cater to snowmobiles..
It's road speeds in the trails, and when trails are freshly groomed it can be orgasmic!
It is a short season, you have to trailer your sled (frome here inCT) to anywhere you want to ride. Sleds are expensive like all the power sports most of us ride, so the smiles per dollar ratio may not be as good as 2 wheels, but worth it to me. I don't stud my KTM 450 but I will ride the quad here in CT or just sled up north...
I rode part of baley hazelnut trail this winter on a snowmobile, I plan to ride it this summer on the 990 ADV...
I grew up riding snowmobiles in Wisconsin. Some of the most fun times of my life were experienced on them. The year I bought my first new snowmobile it stopped snowing down where I lived and we had to travel 5 hours upstate in order to ride. Then I got married and had to sell the snowmobile...the fun times went away quickly after that.
Does anyone know the rider who suffered a heart attack during the event? The news article erroneously refers to the event as "Motocross" and has a clear negative bias in my opinion... I'm more concerned for all involved and the dirt bike community in general...
Great photo by the way!

I didn't know the rider but I remember seeing this picture him posted up on NEDB last year...
Joe needs to start wearing goggles!or he will be Mr. Magoo soon!
Thanks Ed, I got sick of the pain in my shoulder and had it taken care of rotator cuff and torn bicep tendon.
Redbeard, twenty years ago I could get away with that but not now. It freaks me out bad! :eek1
Too bad about the dude, hope he's alright, looks familiar.
