I was probally 4 or 5 bikes behind most of the time...And the pace was fast and I was dodging rocks and never seen it either.

I don't know if it's the Michigan trails that are fast, these guys are fast, or both. All I know is I am jealous.

    Skip ahead to about 1:30.

They are fast, but lack of New England rocks and mud make them look faster.

Why do you think I go back to Michigan every year for the last 4 years. Yes, the trails can be very fast and there are a few fast guys too. :D Pure trail riding fun!

Are they building your BETA yet Gary? :clap. :ear.

Oh boy are you gonna love that bike. Fast is fast no matter what your riding on. Them boys are fast. They say N.E. is one of the toughest terrains. I think San Diego desert would tough. Those tight pine forests wear you out pretty quick.

    How's that new bike Thad?

Only took it out a couple times behind my house so far and busted two rear spokes doing that. No rocks behind my house so not sure what happened there but it's fixed now. I felt more comfortable on it the second time out but I think I'll tone her down a bit with the jetting and power valve, as suggested, until I get used to riding with a powerband. I need to get a radiator guards and lights, and get it registered before I can take it on any real rides. I'm hell bent on getting the bullet proof design guards so have been holding off trying to save up money.

There's a guy with red plates in that video so I think that accounts for some of the speed...unless he's a poser. Anyway, that's how fast I feel like I am going when out on the trails but every time I watch my videos after the ride it looks like they are in slow motion. Some day.

They are cranking for sure. Faster than my brain wants to go. Any of us could go that fast until we hit a tree. For me it would be as soon as my arms got tired or my brain wandered into thinking about other things.
