Did not see a 2014 Nascar thread, search turned up a 2013,2012 etc.
    So here it is>
Sprint Unlimited last night was a typical night for the boys and girl.
Half the field crashed out and they caught the Pace car on fire!
    Denny Hamlin won the "race"!
Looks like Bump drafting may be a thing of the past!
New cars seem to be real touchy in the pack.
Still flirting with the 200 mph barrier in race mode, my opinion is to slow them down and see how the drivers can race each other.
Shorten the races to 250 miles or 100 laps which ever comes 1st. Fuel tanks large enough to go Half the distance of the race and let them manage the cars for maximum tire wear.

So the first time the 3 car enters a race, since Earnhardt was in it, it gets pole. And it's the Daytona 500. Wow, NASCAR couldn't have scripted it better if they tried.

The first duel was pretty boring. Normal move and shuffle the cars pack racing.
The second was a carbon copy until JJ ran out of gas and the rest decided to run each other over. I know this type of racing breeds big accidents, but it still makes them look like a bunch of amateurs.

I wonder if Chevy regrets supplying pace cars now? Doubt they are selling many SSs anyway?

I want to see the King vs Danica match race!?! :clap Then see her win and "stuff the trophy up his rear" like Tony suggested! :rofl

Reagan Smith wins the Nation Wide Drive to COPD 300, Even on FF it was boring!

I can't help but wonder how JR can finish behind so many of the drivers in the Nationwide Series!
3 Rookies did better than him! I mean all the Danica, bashing and JR has not won in how many years!?
This race was exciting at the end!
I know he sells seats and a ton of crappy T-shirts, but I don't get the hero worship thrown on him!
Looks like the throw a caution for a stray butterfly policy is still in effect!:1drink

People are putting the winner of the Daytona 500 up on Facebook and Twitter. Morans don't realize they had watched last years race! Despite the fact that Fox ran a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen.:freaky

If he ever finds his way out of the closet, he'll have a whole bunch more fans and all the anti gay good ole boys will have to make a tough decision. Let every one know they are also gay, or stay in the closet and be a closeted JR fan.:rofl
