    One example of the German influence in Texas......did a group ride here for breakfast. About 25 of us walked in early on a Saturday morning, and the waitresses just rolled with it. Took a little time to get our food, but totally understandable. Sweet people! This is a cafe/bakery/ meat market famous for sausage burgers and kolaches. Cheap eats off the beaten path riding through Heidenheimer and Holland to get here. BEAUTIFUL day for a ride. Good times!

    Enjoying a fine meal on the road in Cloudcroft, New Mexico at The Lodge....

    First up, an appetizer of blackened chicken cheescake - an odd mixture of flavors and textures that was actually quite good!

    The main course was a perfectly cooked and seasoned New York strip

    Last but not least... probably the best red velvet cake I've ever had in my life - absolutely fantastic!!
