With all of your anti-fun posts we know you couldn't drive anything resembling "fast" - what the hell kind of driving were you doing that ABS impeded with driving a car the way you wanted?

I've put 13k miles on my '77 XT500 over the last 4 years and I know exactly how you feel. Recently sold a bike and was looking around for what I wanted next. Considered an SR500, but remembered the vibes and how the XT500 makes my hands ache after just a short while.

Ended up buying a different 500 single - one with a counterbalancer, electric and kick starting, 4 valves and enclosed chain drive. Looks every bit as good IMO. Plenty of hop-up parts for future performance enhancement if I want it. I've put 1000 miles on it so far and have loved every minute.
