I know there is a 250 pic thread but I wanted to start a WR250 pic thread for the wr250f/r/x riders out there. It'd be cool to include your add on's below/above the pics. I'll add when my WR250X gets here in June. Hopefully I'll be putting the deposit on it next week :-)

Installed Zeta handguards with flashers, custom taillight/turn signal mod. Other than that it's completely stock. Will be lowering it soon and designing/fabricating a skidplate.

Does the strap across the "rear" area of the seat serve some function
...perhaps one we really don't want to know about (:ymca)?

Which version did you order? I didn't see WR250R as one of the options?

There isn't one listed on the website. I did an inquiry and Matt helped me on how to order it. Here is what he told me.

"Thanks for the inquiry. We do have a skidplate for your 08 WR250R available. The part number is 463. Place your order for another Yamaha plate and while checking out, there is a customer comments box. Please input that you'd like this plate and that you got confirmation from me, in that box. The price is $83.55. I apologize that it is not yet in the store as the store is currently being revamped with a new, updated system. "

    Nice rides, man.

Since the WR250R's engine is basically 1 cylinder off the R1 and they have the same tail light thought I would add both here. :raabia

Only mod so far are the Acerbis handgaurds.

I think those straps are for your chick to hang on to ... LOL

That strap is gone the next (first) time I take my seat off.

    Gone, gone, gone.

Crossed the water 4 times before I decided not to push my luck with the deep ruts in the water.

Here's mine. It's a 2003 and arrived yesterday. It's got a CRD bash plate, frame protectors, and lots of bumps and scrapes.

I plan to add bar risers, Guts Racing tall seat, Fastway footpegs, and an hour meter. Then I may have the suspension tuned to suit my size a bit better.

Before I do any of that though, I think I'll go for a ride. Did I mention that it's street legal? :evil

I'll post some better pictures when I get them!

< Edit: Now added Renthal Fatboy CR High bars and Fastway F3 "lowboy" footpegs >

I have now added a FMF power bomb and Q4, DRC Edge tail light kit and Dunlop 606's. I really like getting the stock tail light and flashers off there.

Is the seat height as ridiculously tall on the factory dualsport as on previous wr250s?
