Hope you can find it. Met a !#$%&! Suzuki DR200 that swallowed one. Its engine locked up & the cam chain & remains of the nut were found in the bottom of the case. Never found out if the valves hit the piston. May be a good idea to look in to where the cam chain runs.
I am pretty sure that the way the head is designed, the nut would have no way to work it's way over to the cam chain. I think if you take both valve covers off, and fish about with a small magnet, you might get lucky.

Well fellows, i got lucky!! And yes, Nugget is correct, the way the head is designed, it seem almost impossible for that nut to go down into the engine. But as we all know, nothing is impossible. As soon as i pulled the head and tilted it to look at the matting surface, the nut fell out into hand!! i fished and fished for it with two different size magnet tools and NO LUCK! O'well, i found the nut, got the bike back together and got the valves adjusted.
Hello, I'm blowing a little oil from behind my Cam timing Chain adjustment bolt.
Is this "normal"?
It's a 2007 XT225, bone stock with under 4,000 miles.
I usually run the YamaLube.
My left boot now shines a little more than my right one.

I think you are talking about the cam chain tensioner. Maybe you just need to replace the gasket?
I bought a Pelican 1400 case the other week. I did a little modification to make it just like I want it. I attached it to the rear rack with rubber lined clamps. A 1gal RotoPax is mounted to the top.
The elastic net is made for the door of a Jeep Wrangler. I secured it to the lid for my electronics. I have 2 USB ports mounted to a piece of angled aluminum. The back of the net also protects electronics from the RotoPax hardware.
I installed a cig outlet for my Slime pump.
Power from the bike. The wiring is tucked up and out of the way and the fuse box is underneath the side panel.
Built a shelf and lined it with foam. The Slime pump slides underneath the shelf.
Tool bag fits in perfectly.
What I couldn't fit in the Pelican case went in here.
Wolfman side racks for my dry bags. They are modified racks for a WR250R. Did a little welding and powdercoating.
I also powdercoated the heat shields. I hate chrome! Also installed bark-busters, foldable mirrors and moved the rear turn signals to allow room for the side racks.

I used 2 USB ports and the cig outlet from BurnsMoto.com. The wiring is just some odd pieces I had laying around. The connections are all soldered and heat-shrinked for water protection. The power supply is a standard SAE plug. The power plug on the bike is a tank bag connection from Powerlet.com that I mounted on the rear fender. The fuse block is secured under the side plastics.

It's a Trail tech x2- we ordered parts from several different places so I can't remember for sure where we got it- maybe Rocky Mountain ATV or MOTOsport.
