You do not need to buy a new head you can repair it with a thread repair kit(heli-coil).Look at ebay under spark plug thread repair kit.It will just as strong as the original threads.

Thanks for the info. Wasn't sure if that would work. Certainly a lot less expensive.

If it is a 14mm plug I have the kit. It is a TIME-SERT M14 X 1.25 SPARK PLUG REPAIR KIT.

I'll ship it to you with a deposit of $200 (yeah...I want it back or enough money to buy a new one) and when I get it back I'll refund deposit less my shipping cost and $20.00 for the insert.

Let me know if you are interested.

I'm looking for this Baehr bluetooth adapter. It connected to Baehr wired intercom systems and enabled a bluetooth phone to connect through it to the wired intercom system. If you've got one to sell, please PM me.

On the other hand, if you know of or have an alternate BT adapter that would do this, contact me about that, too.

The CFO made a decision: we need less bikes but one more sidecar! So "her" XS2 and SL350 have to go...
-1973 Yamaha 650 XS2, 40000 miles, runs good, no smoke or noises.
    New parts:
    Front tire
    Caliper/SS line/master cylinder
    Conical fork bearings
    Speedo/tacho faces
    XT500 handlebars
    Recent paint
    Tank emblems (POS already cracking)
    Complete wire loom
    Seat
    Boyer EI+ coils
    Sparks alternator/regulator
    Battery
    Redone carbs

The bad: one side turn signals does not work, noisy starter (as all). One little oil leak (oil line to the head?).

I suggest if you're selling or wanting to buy, you state the make and model of what you're selling? There's a lot of different brands and models of bikes in here.

Guess its time: with my now definitcly screwed right arm there are projects I will never tackle nor ride...

So my Yankee Z have to go!

    Full history:
I got 2 of them, one running and one incomplete, I sent the engine of the running one to Keith Lynas to be redone to the tune of $3100.00
    [IMG]

I took apart the rest of the bike and... stopped there following a nasty accident!
So the main bike is in crates:

Body needs work: both fenders are cracked, so some fiberglass work needed. Frame needs paint, wheels should be respoked. When I got it it was equipped with a pair of Mikuni, so the air filter is missing (I only have an ugly rubber boot), I still have a pair of the stock carbs in need of work... This bike has a title under my name, non op. Owner manual the size of a small yellow pages. 2 mufflers available needing paint and repacking.

Number 2 is a rolling chassis, no body, lower engine in (cylinders in a crate), was living outside for years... I wanted to do this with it:

All of these for $3500.00 or a nice sidecar to put on my old Softail...

Looking for a right side engine cover for the Rotax 500 4 stroke, It must have "BOMBARDIER" printed on it. I have one that says ROTAX and would be interested in swapping if interested. Thanks

This is the one I have...need the one that says BOMBARDIER instead
