PM me if you have a nice clean crankshaft sprocket from that.
I could use the headlight ring ,or lens glass and ring if you have it?
Would be interested in the headlight ears and valve covers if everything is in good clean shape. PM me.
My old man has decided to hang up his airhead, as it were, and has given me some of his odds and ends to sell. He, apparently, doesn't want anything to do with paypal, etc. So here we go:
So, a faced swingarm socket, a rotor bolt puller, some clutch compression screws, and a swingarm bearing puller setup. Most of these came from Northwoods airheads, if I'm not mistaken. I think he said he got the clutch compression screws from SJ BMW. These have each been used once or twice. The swingarm bearing puller has yet to be used, I think.
I'd kind of like to sell 'em as a set and be done with it. If that happens, $30, shipped. Otherwise, make me an offer I can't refuse.
Hello--I'll take them please, PM me with payment details. Thanks

Handlebar clamps, really nice condition : $40
Handlebar - rust near clamp area, otherwise-clean $20
Does that mount with the standard seat, or need a single seat?
Looking at the rear bolt holes I'd say it mounts to the subframe right behind/underneath the standard seat.
Thanks...I'm hoping to find something that would work with a single seat -- basically replacing the pillion spot.
I've seen that style on ebay.
Is 1986 old?

rebuilt heads, these are the big valve ones, new hardened seats, guides (with stem seals), exhaust valves
new tires, bridgestone bt45 battlax's
new battery, interstate agm
new brake master cylinder, not installed yet, currently being installed, new front brake line, also being installed
new paralever pivot bearings, driveshaft inspected, no play, no twisting of rubber damper
new happy trails bags and rack
complete tool kit, (minus tire levers)
bike is in good cosmetic shape, no large scratches, dents or dings, there are a couple paint touch ups done years ago, one on right sidecover, one on front fender.
Purchased this bike in early december 2011, trans failed, valve seats receeded (early heads on later bike) i had all this work done, and took it on one weekend trip, and one week long trip, it started leaking oil at the top left front cylinder base, so i took it back in, someone in the bikes past botched a thread repair, so it is currently in the shop getting a keen sert installed, and it should be good to go after that. all i can figure is the bike hates me, so it needs to go to someone who it loves. it is a salvage title bike, i think the frame might be slightly bent at the neck area, but i cant see any cracked paint around that area. the bike tracks straight, and has no noticeable handling quirks.
ive got more money than i would like to say into it.
asking 4900 dollars
if the bike doesnt sell in 2-3 weeks, i will start a new thread and begin parting it out.
doesnt get much more old school than this
i was hoping someone had the plastic black detail strips around the bottom of a /7 seat. if you have a junk seat laying around, i'd love to get em if you got em. they don't need to be "pretty," i just wanna cover up the little rivet screw deals and it seems silly to buy new detail strips from max or somewhere. any help greatly appreciated as always. obviously i'm willing to pay for them. even if you have 1 of the 3, i'd be willing to take one keep searching for the others. thanks!
WTB the turn signals knob (orange part in the photo) for a R100.
