Hey Scott! Your in for the RCR right?

I'll send you an email tomorrow. We need to start making some plans for our other ride soon. Needs some shakedown runs as well. I looked at the calendar and it's not that far off:ricky

I went by Sandia BMW today while I was waiting for my mom to finish at her appointment. Ohh man they had a new Rally on the floor. :drif:viking Like to break that thing in on the ride.

Good thing. I hit all of my properties this afternoon when I got back to town. They survived, one has the neighbors shed in the back yard but no damage, just a mess.

I finally got all the mud washed off from West Fest.
The last parts needed for completing the dual sport conversion of my WR450F are due today. I need to install the bigger gas tank, Vapor instruments, and a cooling fan. Then I will be ready for some trail scouting.

Well I've been doing some bar scouting with @advrider76. The bowling alley is open again with a nice selection of micros on tap. The pizza is damn good too.

Tomorrow...I'll hit the brewery. They are only open Fri-Sun right now. I might be able to score a gig there during the Rubber Chicken...:strum :drink

Great! Glad you made it back. Looking forward to hearing about it. No broken bones, head, or ribs I take it. Let me know when you have time for some riding. We can set something up.

Had a good time yesterday TigerLilly. Great pizza, drink, and conversation. Hope we can do it again sometime.

We had some Hellish rain and wind here in town yesterday. It took the roof off of the south end of the Red Pelican. I spoke with the owner today and he said they should have it fixed in a couple of weeks so it shouldn't impact the event. (Remember to book your rooms early and tell them you are part of the rubber chicken ride for a 10% discount, or not if you want to help the owner out with his insurance deductible.)

I stopped by Sunset Grill yesterday as well and they are working on it. Not sure when they will be up and running but hopefully in the next month or two. The owner is still in the hospital after having a pressure cooker blow up in his face at work so this was the last thing they needed.

And with my shattered calcaneous I'm not going to make the elk hunt either
Hell I will be happy if I'm in a walking cast by then but that's doubtful
