those are some of the best photos i've ever seen. absolutely unbelievable.
Now that's starting to sound like a pretty darn sweet deal!
Yeah, my dad has some fairly harsh words for the old springer front end!
Outstanding old photo's. Much better capturing the spirit of motorcycling, especially during that period than I have seen in many books. You should consider sending copies to Harley-Davidson for thier archives, or AMA.
I do realy think there is a coffetable book waiting to be made there... I would buy it.
Those guys all give a whole new definition to "adventurer." Amazing.
We're all pussies.
Hey! If I've told you damned kids once, I've told you a thousand times: NO CAN-CANS IN THE HOUSE!
Now get outside and practice your nac-nacs.
We are not worthy , those guy's are absolute legends, back in the days when boats were made of wood and men made of steel (well, boats were actually made of steel then, must have been about the time Titainum was invented .......................
great pix and post. that was one great photographer too!
Outstanding! I laugh now because I'm the worst when it comes to: I need this bike for this and that bike for that!
I'm the guy who buys a new and different bike every year just for one specific need. These guys did everything on one bike and liked it!
Thanks for posting those pal. We need to hook up again soon.
Man, those are some great pictures and some very brave and good riders, not to mention extemely fun loving.
Thanks for posting the pics!!
We are very lucky they brought someone along with a camera.
I don't think cameras were quite as sophisticated back then either.
This post made my day. Thanks for sharing.
