Dirt: whatever, you tell me. I'm sure I would have fun on any of those 250-450 non-street legal dirt bikes. Whatever you want to haul to the dirt for me, as I don't have a truck. Otherwise I enjoy getting into trouble on my 12GS :evil

Street touring: would love a K1600GT, Dark Graphite Metallic

    'Round town: R1200GS :clap

If I was limited to the three you listed

    Dirt, Honda CRF250X (Street plated)
    Town, 3rd gen Honda VFR750
    Touring, BMW K1200LT

I also have other catagories that I would have as well

    Adventure KTM950
    Sport / Track SV650S
    Cruiser Vmax
And I would probably go with Sport Touring instead of touring and get a BMW K1200GT

    I think that would do...

Oh and a Norton Commando, a new one would be great, but a classic would be cool.

And maybe an old Honda 750/4.

    this is mine currently

    dirt - wr250r/x

    street - ducati multistrada 1200s

weekend lunch ride - bmw r100s cafe

track - aprilia rs125 two stroke

still want a daytrip, canyon ripper -- while the multistrada is pretty sweet, I was thinking something smaller and lighter like a ktm duke 690r (if I could get that here) and maybe one more year on the track with the little aprilia then bump up to a triumph 675r

After looking at a new Honda CB1100, I think that I could substitute it with a quarter-fairing and soft bags for both the RD and The sport touring.:deal
For a dual-sport I am torn between a Husqvarna TE 511 and a Suzuki DR 650 for reasons on the opposite ends of the spectrum.

I have a 5 bike stable right now so I'm obviously not very good at only picking 3 but I'll give it a shot.

    Dirt-KTM 500 XC
    Street Touring-2nd Gen DL650 Adv
    Town/twisty road bike-GSXR 750

I've had Harley and BMW touring bikes, I'm all about lightness now.

Kinda funny, for right now it would be an all Honda stable. I like the changes that they are making:

dirt: CRF250L (have to be able to drive to the dirt)
    street: Goldwing F6B
    town: CB500X

And I feel the need to point out that the letter "A's" in ATGATT stand for "ALL". I won't critize how you chose to gear up when you ride, but please use the term ATGATT correctly.

Im getting there with my garage.....

    - KTM525
    - 1150GS
    - CB400F

but to fill in the gaps I have a Speed Triple...... I'd really love to have a Bonneville and a XR650L...... then I'd have a near perfect garage.
