But they still look like a bar of soap to me...

Love my Cayman R, especially the rear 3/4 view and eyeing a nice 993 or 964 (RS America!)...almost bought a used 997.1 GT3 instead but love how I can take my CR closer to the limit with complete control.

Maybe down the road would love a turbo-diesel Panamera but happy to have finally become a P-car owner.

I love the Cayman R, one of the best feeling cars I have ever driven. One of the few cars I would consider selling my 993 for.

When we lived in Germany I spent a couple years looking for my dream car...a 993 RS. Found several since ~ 1/2 of the entire production run stayed there, but too spendy for my wallet. Even without the inflated € to $ (actually deflated $ truth be told) they were going for more than a used 997 turbo.

Saw one for sale here in the US recently..."call for price"...means too much for me, at least for now:
http://sloancars.com/3147/1995-993-carrera-rs-polar-silverblack-30900-miles/. I actually prefer one without the Club Sport wing but dayum....

Now that the 981 Cayman's been released you should see a few more 987R's coming onto the market...probably the best time to buy one. I'd love to pick up a 987 Boxster Spyder too...exceptionslly rare one at my local dealer right now...but SWMBO says I can't cash in my 401K! :lol3
