No interior pics yet but it is really nice shape. Black with a good looking aftermarket sport wheel and carbon fiber shifter knob. Rode the thing to work this morning. My, that was a different commute!

Very nice - and I love SC's without the whale tail. The current 997 is going to be as classic looking in 30 years

    +1

I get a wild hair to sell my '79 every once in a while. Then I drive it again. Noisy, stinky, and unrefined as can be. I love it.

Alas, both the P-Cars are going on the block when I get home in Jan. Just doesn't make sense to pay to store them in Utah when I live in NYC.

That's pretty much been my dream car for as long as I've been capable of having a dream car. Absolutely stunning. And if I'm not mistaken, I may have seen it driving around ABQ once this past summer as that looks like a NM plate. His car or not, I just about broke my neck trying to get a better look at it! That's awesome that Porsche gave him the paint code -- maybe they were happy he was restoring one of the older P-cars -- it makes me happy (and them too probably) to see one brought back to its full glory. Nice!

That's a great clip. :clap Thanks for posting it.

Here's one that you might enjoy (I hope it hasn't previously been posted - apologies if so).

I certainly don't condone behavior like this.. but I do understand it ...:evil

The Africa race has just ended today - Practically the old Paris-Dakar for those who didn't want to make the switch to South America. They had a historic class:
