Wonderful summary Julie! You nailed it!
Just found this. Shows me how out of touch I am.
Great ride report!
:eek1 Madeoutttaglass, she is a keeper!
She knows how to travel. The blanket makes it even better. Now, a nice book and a cup of hot cocoa and she's all set!
don't forget some good old fashioned ear muffs too!!
I was not invited? Well that's probably a good thing wouldnt want to hit the Panzir's Great Pumpkin, Or run off the road into a tree. LOL Looks like you had a good time :)
MIKE! Our buddy! I assumed you knew. I bet Panzir would hve loved to have you come along. I certainly would have. Gotta get Katie to try out the sidecar. Good thing you took her on our Wing last year. I'm meetiing the new owner of it at the airport tomorrow. I guess that speaks a bit to which bike we like better. Panzir just left here. He trucked the TW200 over and we just did 100 miles of seasonal roads today.
Hope to see you soon,
Got the mug in the mail yesterday.
I did the Spruce Goose tour in the 1990s. At that time, it was in Long Beach, CA. It is hard to imagine transporting that monstrous plane without flying it - LINK. Nice ride report.
A fantastic RR, thanks for taking me along in the journey!
Thanks Tessitori, we enjoyed every minute of it. I look most forward to seeing your Lost Coast again. From there to the north end of the Oregon was our favorite part.
I am trying to convince my wife to take a 3 days ride up highway 1 from San Francisco to the Oregon coast and then come back inland ... I hope she's game or I will do it solo!
Have a great week-end!
You are talking about the most beautiful places that we've ever seen. Tell her how lucky you both are to be so close to it. We met people from all over the world that came to see and ride the area. DO IT!
C'mon up man!!! Maybe I kin show you a few of the sights!!
Patrick, you're on! I will let know when my travels take me up there.
You oughtta have Patrick do a bit of paintwork as a memento of the trip.
I'd recommend the stretch from the Evergreen Museum to the Avenue of the Giants.
and don't forget to take hwy 34 outta Waldport if ya do.....it's the "Mostest AWESOME MOTORCYCLE ROAD on Planet Earth!!"
Great Report, would love to do one similar one day, got the Ural, just not the plan yet. Thanks
Thanks for the report.
I've been thinking for more than a few years about a Ural. If I sell most of my other bikes I could possible come up with the $$ to swing the deal and not screw with financing the bike. That is a story for another day ...
Again, thanks. You need to fill in Louisiana and the bigger majority of Texas someday.
