That really is a nice Single Six. A bit more meaningful than any old used pistol, I would imagine. :thumb

If any of you guy's with a Ruger single six needs a .22 magnum cylinder I've got one I'll send you for free. My gun was stolen a few years ago and I have it just laying around.

I have probably already posted this picture on ADV but I am in love with this gun.

This weekend I am going back to the range to adjust the optic up and to the right an RCH.

Thanks. We were all brought up shooting as dad was (is) a Marine so it was natural. Take mom and us four kids out to the high desert with a box or two of .22 shorts and some lunch, cheap family times, and good family times. After dad took his own life my mother never wanted guns around and I took care of the Browning and kept it at my house. My sister wanted to go shooting with it and that was the last I ever saw of it.

Sorry to here about you losing the 94 and 700, but you have the 67. :clap
For me, it was more of a sentimental loss, a link to my dad, tradition. That tradition is why it was so important for me to teach my son to shoot with the model 64A that dad taught all of us with.

Great memories none the less and they are more important as is handing down tradition.

Damn, thats some nice shootin'! :thumb I wish I could manage groups like that with my Kadet :bluduh. I'm glad this thread has taken off- I just rode back from the range and there's nothing better than getting out to ride and shoot in the same day :clap

I want one of each soo bad! I was just drooling over a pump and a lever action yesterday at the gun shop. I loaded up on some ammo and hit the range and put a few hundred shots down range from my 9mm and then a bout 300 with my single six. I love the ability to affordably shoot the .22 all day.

'Specially when you just get outa' the field, come back to your truck and think "huh... I don't remember that glass on the pavement..." just before noticing the vent window is missing. Bastages.

Scope is worth more money than the gun.
Fluted and threaded barrel is worth more money that stock+receiver+trigger assembly.
