I don't know why I'm kinda missing this rifle, the only particle use I ever found for this gun was bunnies. It was an extremely sharp shooter though! On the right day, it would group quarter sized groups at 100 yards. That's on a bench not in a vice of any type.

[QUOTEHowever I recently tried CCI Stingers in it for the first time, and it is like a new gun with this ammo.][/QUOTE]

Try some Federal Red box if you can find them, one of the most consistent rim fire rounds I have ever fired. The Winchesters in the old timie lookin box are pretty good too, but the Federals beat them hands down through what I was shooting them.

Just found this thread. I got this from Santa this year and it is my first rim fire. I just love the gun, it is a little tack driver

CZ can be a little hit or miss on the wood figure, best bet is to find a shop that carries these things and see the gun in person.

The plain ones still look good, but the occasional one will be absolutely beautiful.

    I absolutely agree.

I would definately save the money over Cooper or Kimber or Anschutz and go CZ. Although last time I went Ruger, because I figured I might upgrade it later on.

    :nod .17HMR

I've taken bunnies at 130m and I'm not a very good shot [shit at estimating distances too, thank doG for cheapo ebay golf laser rangefinders :rofl]

Cheap enough to shoot lots makes it one of my favourites.

How much is one of those if you don't mind me asking? And is .17 pricier ammo than .22?

I have a 452 in .22LR as well, very very quiet with subsonics.
