Just thought I'd pass along a good resource. For years, I used Brown's Welding, in Boulder, for welding/fabrication support for my projects. Craig Brown is well-known as one of the top guys in this field, and has been very much a fixture in the local motorcycling community for several decades. With Craig's retirement however, Brown's Welding is now closed.

Nick Spitzer, who worked for Craig at Brown's, is now doing business on his own as Metal Edge. I've had him do a few tricky projects for me over the last year, and I can report tht his work is excellent, and his fees quite fair and reasonable. As a licensed aircraft mechanic and inspector I have some basis to judge the work. I do a lot of my own welding and fabricating, but I leave the really tricky stuff to others. Nick has done some very thin stainless welding for me that is superb, and has also done a fine job welding up some cracks in my old VW fuel tank.

This post is partly self-serving: I need the services a good local welder from time to time, so I would like to see Nick succeed and stay in business. I think many of us can benefit from such a resource. If you need some welding done, please consider giving him a call.

    Contact info:
    Nick Spitzer DBA Metal Edge
    303-931-4856

    Thanks
    Andy

My company, The JRP Group, is hiring for recruiters. If you have a strong inside sales or recruiting background, shoot me a PM. We have offices near Cherry Creek, and up in Dillon. You can work in either location, or split your time between both.

The search firm I work for has an exclusive contract to find 22 people to build out the tax and payroll team for a Fortune 150 company that's located in Centennial/Englewood. They're a great company to work for, and they're relocating this department from New York to their corporate headquarters here. We're looking for the following, and I'd sure appreciate any referrals:

Senior Payroll Manager with ADP EV5 and eTime experience, plus a strong accounting background, to head up the payroll team.
    Payroll Processing Manager
    Payroll Systems Manager
    Multiple Payroll Coordinators

    Director, Tax Accounting & Compliance
    Manager, Tax Accounting
    Manager, Indirect Taxes
    Sales Tax Associates
    Manager, Domestic Tax Compliance
    Tax Accountants
Senior Manager, M&A/Controversy/Exams (attorney and/or CPA)
International Tax Manager (M&A, Planning, Research)
    International Tax Senior

This company has great benefits and great career potential. If you know of anyone who might be interested, shoot me an email at anne@jrpgroup.net, or give me a call, 303-625-9569.

Denver has been very good to us, but the better half got an opportunity she couldn't pass up and leaves for GJ in a few weeks.

I've got resume's a'flyin (!) but figured it couldn't hurt to post here.

10 years healthcare management experience, recent graduate from CSU for organizational leadership. Looking to manage, operate, and/ or direct; hopefully outside of the healthcare arena (I need a change of pace and want to learn new skills).

I'm a responsible hard worker and learn fast. Great customer service skills.

My Brother in law is looking for a job as a truck driver. Anywhere between here and the west slope would work.

He's just got his class A license and has had problems finding a company that does not require 2-3 years of experience. It's kind of a crazy chicken and egg problem...
He's 32, a very mellow guy and super reliable. He drives very well and carefully and has a squeaky clean driving record. I think he's never had a ticket in his life.

    Please PM me with info.
    TIA.

Soooo had some 40'trailers needed to be moved to new locations on my property,,,requested short truck,,but a full size freightliner showed up...he got 2 of em where i wanted and then the 3rd one well he got it close but no cigar ,,we had to dig and drag his rig out of there .

so i need someone with one of those short trucks that moves trailers around in their parking lots...

the parking brakes on trailer are already disengaged....i bet it wouldn't take 10 minutes plus hook and unhook time

    call me 303-550-9416

    any other ideas are welcome
my project is stuck,,,cuz i need the trailer in its official final spot before we can continue moving sheds etc around...

I have a summer project that the wife is dreaming of, so far I've had two people out to give me quotes....and they varied by about $20,000!!! :huh

I think one guy is smoking crack and I'm not sure I really trust the other one to do things right. The goal here was to not do it myself so I actually got to ride some this summer :deal

So, if anyone is in the biz of building decks or if you have someone that you know and trust drop me a PM.

If it helps, I'm South-East near E470 and Smokey Hill.

    Thanks!
