Good friend of mine sent me this. A letter to the editor he wrote to his local paper:

I acknowledge that a hunter does not need more then 10 rounds to harvest a deer or other game, but, hunters don't leave their rifles in the field or take them to a storage facility afterwards. They take them home where they serve a second purpose of protecting the hunter and his family from intruders that could take their lives. That said, I read that many home invasions are perpetrated by multiple assailants. Two or three intruders could mean they have 20 to 30 rounds and that is only if they would be law abiding criminals with only 10 round magazines.

Wilson Combat, famous manufacturer of premium 1911 pistols and AR-15 rifles, had put themselves on the ever-growing list of manufacturers who are making it a matter of policy to not supply law enforcement in states with prohibitive gun control.

Simply put, if your people don’t have access to the guns they want, neither can your police.

“Wilson Combat will no longer provide any products or services to any State Government imposing legislation that infringes on the Second Amendment rights of its law-abiding citizens. This includes any Law Enforcement Department, Law Enforcement Officers, or any State Government Entity or Employee of such an entity. This also applies to any local municipality imposing such infringements.

“States currently included in our No-Sale Policy are: California, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C. and Chicago, Illinois.

“Wilson Combat will in no way support the government of these states or their anti-gun agenda that only limits the rights of law-abiding citizens. Wilson Combat will continue to supply any product and/or service they can legally sell in these states to all non-government affiliated citizens.”

    Magpul too
Back in 1990, when I was deployed in Desert Shield and Desert Storm as a Marine grunt, some companies prioritized me items for my M16 for shipping that I purchased with my own funds. After getting out and forming Magpul in 1999, I established the same priority policy for Military and Law Enforcement, due to the requirements of their profession.

The same policy has been in place for 13 years now and has never been an issue until a few days ago. I do not support the idea that individual police officers should be punished for the actions of their elected officials. That said, I understand the concerns that some have with Law Enforcement officers getting special treatment while at the same time denouncing second amendment rights to another citizen in the same state.

With the fight in Colorado right now we do not have time to implement a new program, so I have suspended all LE sales to ban states until we can implement a system wherein any Law Enforcement Officer buying for duty use will have to promise to uphold their oath to the US Constitution — specifically the second and fourteenth amendments — as it applies to all citizens.

Damn shame that Glock, Ruger, S&W, & other big gun makers (as a matter of fact all the gun makers) aren't on that list. I would think that would get the attention of those states in question.

    Ahhh... the power of $$$$!

sorry to disappoint you, it was just a vacation :evil plz elaborate on the shit you say i spouted in other threads? i need incite on this. Im sorry to see that you feel this way, your one of those poor unfortunate people who believe your opinion is the only right one. im sorry to break the news to you, but your dead wrong. we all have our opinions. I think there needs to be an assault weapons ban. I strongly support president barack obama's views on the subject matter. those kinda guns are for military personal only. I DO however support small handguns, shotguns, and hunting rifles. if you need to defend yourself or your family from a lunatic, you can do it with a small glock etc. no need for some big ass AR-15 with 30 rounds. that's ridiculous. Though if you feel diff then thats your opinion. there are pros and cons to both sides, and i pick the side with fewer guns. If you dont like it, you know exactly where you can stick it. :deal

all i have to say :D
