Is this where I put up my all time favourite video (that I did) - 'sideways sidecars' at School House corner, Broadford?

One of the last times Alec (now 21) was in the chair, we were up at Mt Selwyn heading for Cabramurra via the gravel at Kings Cross (got that). Alec in the chair, Laura on the pillion) Gassing it up around a left hander, Alec does the whole lean out thing, I am throwing myself almost into the chair and we are both giggling our heads off. Yes, I could hear the screams from Laura, she was doing the leaning out bit too. Just the wrong way! Larrrff! Fuck we larrrffed!

I have lost a heap of photos off my hard drive, when I tried to move them. Luckily, most are on Smugmug. I can get them back, whenigetaroundtuit.:jkam

Now having anxiety over what should and shouldn't go into the luggage v carry on. Weight is not the issue, just what do I want to take and what is just a wasted effort. No, don't answer that. You'd be wasting your time on me.:baldy

Batteries are out of the bikes, sitting on a cabinet for the young bloke to test and then charge, as required. Reckon he'll remember? Nah, nor do I. I must tell him that, if anyone of them is flat when I come home, he'll be replacing it / them. I also wonder when he'll actually clean the house before we come home - he's a he, not a she. Any wagers? Apart from vacuuming the floors and stacking the dishwasher, I reckon he'll be tidying up the morning after we come home.:nod

No promises - I can try and work out how to get this on my phone or tablet and send you all snaps to be jealous over.:bubba

    See you in the spring!:flug

All of my photos are kept on a USB stick, about 15 years worth.

Just remember to recopy them to a new stick every couple of years, the memory can fail on sticks quite quickly.

I'd just come of a 16 hour shift and was asleep in the chair. Brother in law was piloting when the front brake lever came straight to the bar. Of the road sideways, chair wheel dug in flipped up and done pirouette on the the chair before coming to a halt back on it's wheels. I woke up as it was air borne and saw the it was turning to go through the fence backwards just as it started to lift onto it's side.
When it came to a halt, I could hear the brother in law swearing behind me, while I was laughing my ass of at how it would have looked to any following with a video camera.

Any sidecar inmates heading from the east to the OCR at Mt Dare in August? I will be leaving from Canberra and looking for travelling companions slow enough so that I can keep up (KLR650 rig). Leaving around Wednesday 8 August via Broken Hill I think, but open for options. Cheers - Barry

Danger .. the sun is shining.. The wheels are suitably brown .. but not damp?!

I'm certain it will rain there soon to put things back in order.
