We were thinking about you riding home.
Darrell, his other brother Darrell and cousin Darrell
Yo guys look positively international!
Sweet Versys Denis.
I guess that says something about a bike when you get rid of it then buy another one.:eek1
Denis,i like the color.
T and I headed out to LF on Wednesday just because we could:
Where we met up with Wayne:
And of course the faithful Kato:
We had some good riding before other FF's showed up
I enjoyed the dirt roads on the Tiger this weekend:
Although there was one on Thursday that was a bit too much for the Tiger - and for me as well:
This was where I gave up:
After coming this far:
Had a flat later on that same day:
Courtesy of a 2" drywall screw.
Of course the paved roads were also fun
There was wildlife to observe
As well as modern technology:
Plenty of great food:
And who doesn't like meat on a stick?
...and on the grille:
Of course you can't cook your meat without wood for the fire:
Lots of fun around the campfire before and after meat on a stick:
VAC and Scotty "pee":
T's favorite camp chair finally gave up the ghost:
I almost lost my blackberry riding through Dolly Sods - I felt it as it fell out of my tank bag but I thought it was a rock - fortunately I found it on the side of the road after a long search on the wrong section of the road. I felt so lucky at that point that I started to scan for my took kit, which I lost in the spring in Dolly Sods - but I was not lucky enough to find that. Still I feel that my Dolly Sods lost shit curse has been lifted.
Thanks for waiting for me guys.
Look at these two goofballs:
And two more:
Awesome weekend! You guys are the best.
Fuckin VAC.... just looks like he's gonna say something funny.
Looks like HB and I missed a great time ....
Thanks for sharing
Nice set of pics Tom!
I'll see you guys at Movie Night!
It looks like our guest of honor has another commitment that weekend...............................stay tuned.
Due to work and technology limitations... I rolled into Alpha Oscar (Area of Operation) at 2130. But not before dodging Cattle and dogs in the road. Long day but greeted with pumpkin roll and a fire. Started hitting the Rockstar and Absolute... then hit the rack at midnight. Next morning I got up early and needed to make a run to Elkin for the internet and coffee. Then back by 0800 to hang out with campers. Most left at 0900 for breakfast but I used the time to add oil, gas, and a little TLC to Paris before leaving for the Lima Delta (Line of Departure).
Selfie at the LOD
Video... Just Click. 360 degree of camp.
Look Mom no tent. I've decided to sleep in the back seat... not bad.
Took these photos after we got back from a long day of riding. Check my SPOT for all the fun places we visited. I'll post the base map later this week.
Next morning it was raining and I was on the road for 0800. Here are some shots leaving Lima Foxtrot (Laurel Fork).
Stopped for some nasty WH Rib-eye and eggs and a blueberry waffle. Looked too bad for food porn shot.
Made it home safe and dry.
These shots / video are for Kevin and Tom. Damn squatters!
Videos... just click
and a link to my game cams shots and videos to get you fired up for bow season
Looks like I picked the wrong day not to wear my Man-Zier. What a set of moobs!
Never underestimate the culinary skills of a hungry camper. Some of the best chow I've had in some time.
Was this before or after someone didn't use tongs
My Rella's RR
Nice pixs everyone. ....don't leave home without a long knife or a pair of tongs.
Tongs reminds me of an old joke....
I'll have to tell ya about it someday...
My off road Tiger1050 exploits this past weekend made me poke around a bit on ADV looking to see what others have done to make their Tiger Roadie more dirt-worthy, I came across this thread:
I must admit that the Tiger roadie looks good in the dirt on those TKC-80s, but I'm not ready to pull the trigger on a set of those. (maybe JaxO will let me borrow his for a trial...) Shinko 705s are not available for the Tiger 1050. Pirelli Scorpion Trails are available in the necessary sizes (120/70 17 and 180/55 17), and they are probably only marginally better offroad than the Pilot Road 3 tires I'm riding on.
I should probably just take the KLR when the rides are mostly offroad, but damn I love that Tiger Roadie on the road, and it's a long ride on the road down to our favorite riding spots in WV.......
Found my keys.
For some unknown reason they were in my clothes duffle.
Maybe in the pants you put in the clothes duffle??
