Heck that's not just a jar ... That's a Quart!!! :eek1
I think he can handle it
Any pics up from the weekend Bob?
Mason, the only kind of jar to drink out of. I do everything big.
No officer I only had three beers tonight.
None that I took, I will grab a couple and repost. Nice easy ride. Except for one small spot a Valk Tryk could have made the entire trip.
Cool.... I bet HB could have made it on his Plain Valk Too..
It's amazing where he will take them...
Quick set of pictures...
Nice wooden bridge
Me in rolling through Ojai with most of my gear for AK.
Through the vineyards
The morning after in the campground. Something about how the hookers look bad in the morning.
On the way home road over the mountains again. You can make out the Channel Islands
Had to make the obligatory stop and visit our "Tasseled" friends (Cold Springs Tavern)
He looks better dressed. That is Joel (H8 chains)
Only 400 odd miles but enjoyable to get back out.
You should have pity on us...
HB wouldn't have broken a sweat. Hurry up and come on out we can do some riding.
yep..........gas is pricy out west!
How to make a GS look small
Check out the bent knees and the flat feet. :eek1
Been awhile since I've checked in here in the ghetto, but I have some news that I like and may help me enter the ranks of the "un-right in the head club".
Friday at 6:00 am I leave via BWI for Omaha to pic up my new to me R1150 GS Adventure, then ride it back to Maryland.
I believe that it should be a "bracing" and at times "damp" ride..
I'll try and take a few pics and maybe try and post 'em up.
So, sound crazy or is it just another day to this crowd of mental cases?
Oh, I've never ridden a GS before. Points or deductions??
Damn..are all the KLR riders growing up or what?
Congrats on the new bike, saw you had your custom KLR in the fleamarket...enjoy the ride back.
Growing up? I'd say, "Haven't we met", but compared to some of you I am the epitome of maturity, and that's kinda sad!!
My oldest wants to ride, and the KLR wasn't fully up to the task.
Yep, know what you mean...picking up my "new" 08 KTM Adventure from Alabama on Saturday.
Congrats!! I looked at 'em, but eight gallons of gas called my name. And it was black and yellow, and I could afford it!!!
See you at Laurel in April on it?
Sweet looking places to ride Bob!!! Well worth every penny extra for gas.
That diesel price hurts though!!! would cost me 32$ more to fill my truck out there.:huh
Very generous offer too!!! Thanks you da man!
congrats on the new ride
Glorious ride to work today - 45 and no wires, winter gloves or heated grips necessary
Congrats on the new ride & you sound totally sane to me!
hint - Consider dropping south to come through KC and Lexington, rather than Chicago and the lake-effect areas of I-80/90. You'll probably make up the 2 hour difference just in traffic and radar traps, plus stay warmer and dryer.
congrats, so I guess you'll be getting some good use out of the Olympias. Hope to be at LF, and who knows maybe I'll have a ntm GS too...
Thought of that!! I HATE Chicago...
