AH, y'all can't see it. :DOH

I could see it... if that makes you feel better. :D

This flag was on the wall of a biker bar she was a bartender at in the 70s. A badass biker momma with a heart of gold.

In accordance with her wishes, I have been carrying a bit of her ashes on my bikes for 30K miles. She wanted to travel the country on a bike rather than being buried. She's been with me since I visited Tucson summer 12.

Yesterday was her birthday. RIP Allison.

    Thanks all.
Allison was the matron of the wildest living arrangement I ever encountered.
All living in a house in suburban Tucson circa 81.... 82
    Allison, a bartender/hairdresser
Her boyfriend Marty... jobless lush philosopher
Her husband... Roland a male stripper. They never saw any reason to get a divorce.
Marie, a truckstop prostitute who had a CDL... so she would get picked up in Tucson and help a guy drive for weeks at a time. double dipping as the trip progressed! Pretty smart if you ask me.
Dave A motorcycle badass, Vietnam vet who was a mercenary in some war torn South American country
Bill... her brother/my friend.... a real estate agent.
Me.. an itinerant day laborer. I stayed in the tool shed like Carl Childers.
    :lol3:lol3:lol3

    Some crazy good times there.:lol3

Bob, His place is somewhere between Sand Point and Libby.

    Hello Jax

If you get time, would you give us the story on your new Tiger toy (GPS/notebook).

What type of cradle does it take? Is it a touch screen? Does it work with gloves on........etc.

Inquiring dumbasses would like to know.

Having done no research to this point, we can neither confirm nor dispute these claims.

Hope the shirt color was OK.

Nexus7 refurb 130$ It's a 32GB with stand alone GPS, no cell connectivity. WiFi only.
Osmand free app that you can load .gpx files into. Pretty easy to use.

1" Ram ball mount (though sounds funny:lol3) does a good job of holding the tab. this holder http://www.protelecomsupply.com/ram...AOQ_2NRKChIUBTY1RdjYRywHjRigMDj-ifxoCJkLw_wcB

usb connector and cable for on the fly charging.

I have been having more and more issues using small GPSs. Sight being the worst. I can't see my GPSs well enough for them to be useful.
My only real choice in a stand alone is a 6" 600+$ garmin. I just can't justify that kind of cashola.
This whole thing is less than 200 and it is an android tab that does all that stuff too.
    Not waterproof.
Garrett, I suspect that this is not going to be a good solution for the kind of riding you do. Well... unless you can protect it in a tank bag or something. The charging connector is not robust. I am thinking about some better solutions than the usb in space you can see in the photo.
Gloves have worked.... and not worked. I think humidity has something to do with it.
It was in direct sunlight last weekend and didn't freeze even though it was hot to the touch.
It led me down an adventurous gravel road last weekend to the MD tag. :evil
