5 pages of folks basically asking if they're cool
Those stickers are pretty, they'd make a nice collage in framed wall-art. Do you have duplicates of them? As much as they would look great on a bike, it's almost a waste to do that...
There is a
"Ask For Your Free Battery Test" sticker
on my very old wheeled tool chest - the tool chest which I acquired before it was junked in about 1973 from the place where I then worked.
Varios with replaceable doors. The collage will be art one day.
I love me some stickers, I'm just an overgrown kid that likes to rides motorbikes
I go for autographs too from some
Labrador's Money Penny
who needs adv stickers when you got a big ass sharpie Just like a HoneyBadger
My riding buddies and I used to do something similar, but it was labels off beer bottles. And yes, only AFTER all riding was done.
This thread has inspired me to finally stick my KOA and Sam's Club on my Actionpacker.
It's on a KLR (using the KMart cutting board mod). I'll totally look the part!
Gonna look a.w.e.s.o.m.e
My Daughter has worked for moto gear shops and gear distributors, so I'll put those on my bike as a "thank you for the discounts" advertisement!
I kinda like stickers, I've had destination stickers, brewery stickers(even a bottle opener on my Jesse's) and "sponsor" stickers on my bikes.
My latest bike, I'm gonna try to keep it to a bare minimum.
FYI Givi cases suck for sticker retention.:huh
This reminds me......gotta order some new ADV stickers.
atomicalex, where can you find "D" ovals?
i put my stickers inside my cases.....
and Labrador's Money Penny is supercute.
Cracked plastic on Mr V from all those times he was sleeping called for drastic repair. ABS pipe glue liberally applied inside and out. What to do? Why not try a sticker bomb? So I did. Approaching 85,000 km of trouble free adv touring here is Mr V put back together and ready for another year.

We're kinda getting away from the original question, which was debating location / country stickers. The rule is this. You can only affix a location / country sticker to a bike IF you have traveled in that location / country on that particular motorcycle, AND you purchased it while on that particular journey. Ideally it should be applied on the very day you traveled in the location / country while enjoying a frosty beverage and reliving the day's events.
Your bike, your rules... My bike, my rules
Just because it's the interwebs...
Up until just recently I had a bike that all of my stickers went on if they were going on a bike. Most were accumulated with that bike but there were a few rally type stickers that got thrown on even though another bike may have been used. I got over it. (Don't really do product stickers.)
A few weeks ago someone decided to run me over. Hit my side bag from the back. Other than being extremely fortunate I was also pissed because "...there goes my sticker collection..."
Bought it back from the insurance company if for nothing else, the bags - and my sticker collection. (Will slowly rebuild the bike, as well.) If the bags can't be beaten back into use they will make nice little 'cabinets' on the shop wall where the stickers can remind me of some awesome journeys.
It's sill up for negotiations if stickers will go on the new bike or not.
I have an inspection sticker...
I don't have stickers on my bike. But in the same light don't care if someone has 1 or 100... Its their bike. I had some on my jeep of climbing areas and manufacturers and a Trooper friend of mine said once, stickers make it unappealing for thieves to steal because the vehicle becomes too noticeable...
Funny how some thieves just want to blend in.
I rode an old GS with Micatechs, no less. So ugly no one wants to steal those anyways.
I'd let HER write on anything she wanted!!
Just a couple of these
and one of these
I finally figured out where to place my ADV sticker. Thanks
I got mine in Germany. I'm sure the internet can resolve the issue, though.
That one is the small form factor - 3" wide. The car-sized ones are too big, IMO.
LOL, i thought you meant D-troit. Now that i think of it ours say DET.
