my little slice of NE TN, this is my view out the back at my newly purchased house. Taken 3 weeks ago. I hope to get my bikes down here soon and start riding.

Welcome to TN Rusty! You up towards Jonesborough somewhere?
Thanks. In Jonesborough as a matter of fact.
As I am sure you know, Jonesborough is a cool little town (oldest town in TN)...make sure you try the Black Olive restaurant...when you get settled in we should meet for a ride sometime...I'm about an hour to your southwest...
Thanks for the tip. We were at the new house for a week in mid March. A friend and his wife came down to see the house from Roanoke. We decided to try the Black Olive. Great. A couple days later another friend from NJ came with his wife, so we took them to Black Olive. They liked it. They stayed the night and the next day we were trying to figure out where to have dinner. My buddy insisted on going back to the BO. He had the exact same meal the second night, so I guess you can say we are fans of that restaurant.
Thanks for the welcome.
Yea Sewanee's right!
The roads surrounding Sewanee are every bit as good as most of the roads near the Dragon, but with virtually no traffic 99% of the time. May be my favorite place I've ever ridden street bikes. Soon I'll start investigating some of the off road sections.
If you go to Sewanee, you gotta buzz to Sherman, make a loop back up on 156.
Sweet Guz Mr ledge
Don't forget to go to the Cross in Sewanee.

My buddy went to college there. I would go visit him every now and then and needless to say.... Sewanee knows how to party. Not to mention they have the coolest campus I've ever been on. Love that whole area.
Been through there many many times on a train and have ridden it also, beautiful area and quiet unless a train rolls through!
A train went through about 5 minutes after I took this pic of the bridge there...check the date on the plaque...
