Who?.......the Gillette girls??
He said fesh fesh
Enjoying all the access to Ned, and the rally.
Thanks for all the effort. Here's to stage 3
Yes we are!
Stellar day Ned. Keep the conservative pace up and let the attrition settle in later.
Like they say... "To finish first, first you have to finish."
Also, like somebody said... Ned has something that the Pro's don't have, and that is all of us on Adv supporting him! That in itself is an amazing thing, and I am constantly in AWE of what we have here. Wish I had this back when I rode Hodakas
p.s. Here's to Mom! You rock! May your voice return just in time for the final stage and party in Lima!
GO NED GO !
. You bet
So does Ned take the Double Take Mirror off for the stage? I assume he needs it for the liaison since he is in traffic?
Might be folded over, but I cannot see it.
WOOT!! GO NED!!! Thank you for bringing us along.
(btw...your location right now is NOT Colorado Springs, CO. )
please excuse my dumb ass but where are you guys listening to the interviews or seeing any videos?
How are you finding out whats going on?
It's all right here. We all read what's posted, then 205 post it again in another thread. That's how it works!
Actually, MANY people here have one or two friends at the race with info, or other inside scoop, which gets posted. Add up ALL those individual bits of information and it makes it look like we all know everything. A few of us have been there and know some stuff by heart, but most just learn as they go along.
Just listened to the interview. Carpe Diem indeed!
Stay safe and mind the cows.
Thanks to everyone else for all the info as well.
Keep the broadcasts coming. That was the best Dakar coverage in a very long time. Passing by the "cow incident" must have been surreal.
Stick to your strategy - it's working! Cheering from Denmark, go go!
Just got done listening to Ned's interview and watching the stage 1&2 highlights, so I feel I'm caught up. Great interview. I really like the format, from the trenches daily. Good stuff. Go get 'em Ned.
What I learned from rally school and from an actual rally was to keep making forward progress and to go fast whenever it was possible. Stopping can be a real killer...you sweat more and your body doesn't like to get moving again. Also every time you have to pick up your bike it is a major blow to your energy reserves.
Well bikes started at 0600 which was 30 minutes ago...
I wonder what Ned is listening to on today's ride?
Yesterday it was The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo
Off to lunch, hope y'all keep me posted on what I miss in the next 30 min...
Hmmm....apparently nothing was missed as riders are still on liason stage
Cars will be out in approximately 30 min at 0748 hrs their time..
I guess I'm the only one posting to Ned's Thread ('cuz it's too quiet at work and I'm trying to stay awake!)
Anyway I just wanted to remind those who support Ned to go to http://neduro.com (no www) scroll to the bottom and then click on his sponsors links - I think he gets "credit" for pass-thru clicks like that - and it'd be even better if you bought something from them and left a note saying thanks for sponsoring Ned!
I'd buy some stuff but I'm currently thousands of miles and 3-4 months away from my bikes
RIDE ON NED - Ride SAFELY too!!
Great interview Thanks for posting!
Stage 3 Ned! Stick to your plan! Go NED!!
Good morning Ned!
Have a great day today!!!
