I'm looking at getting a bucket of ice screws and making the KDX really dangerous. It was above freezing here all day, but very mucky.

Stop beating around the bush; tell us what you really think about it. Personally, I find it hard to get excited about four wheeled conveyances. They're just people movers.

I could get excited about a BJ45 Landcruiser, but I probably couldn't afford to keep one. Rich should have ordered Kawi green.

Their green version is too milky.

    Nobody will hit me (unintentionally).
I'll be safer during hunting season.
    Possible sponsorships from:
    Home Depot
    Hooters
    Broncos
    Tropicana

So far I had only one guy going off on me (in extreme Jo Momma style) as I drove down his street.

    Specs:
    Wheels...4 (sorry)
    AWD
Lots of techno goodies (compared to my 2000 CRV)
Can tow two bikes or my little boat.
    25/33 mpg
    $22,800

I admit it looks a little "edgey" but I think I can pull it off.

You show up in Newfoundland on a KTM, and I'm going to feed you to the polar bears. Yes, they get the occasional polar bear there stranded from an ice floe.

Any man that can ride a KLR 250 and maintain his dignity can likely ride a danger high voltage Suby.

You wanna plan something down south during the cold season, Rich? Anton and I have been tossing around a mid-winter trip.

    Winter trip...maybe.
My son ay be on the verge of buying his first house, a serious fixer upper. I have the skills, time and tools. I told him I'd give him 90 days. If the deal falls through and he buys a 30 day project instead then more definitely maybe.

    Oh, and here:

I love that colour. Unfortunately VWs are generally very understated.

I wanted a Fit but the family didn't like them and I decided I needed AWD. My Fit would have been blue. After the Fit fell from grace I lusted for a Kia Soul. It has 164hp, 26/34 mpg and a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. It tows in Europe but the US owner's manual says DO NOT TOW. So it was on to the great pumpkin, which may have looked a little better if it were the "lump of coal".

Hmm, good point about the Soul. I'd looked at them and the Scion mini-box. I wonder if the Scion tows?

    More orange.
I guess Husqvarna's colors are red and white only on the two-wheeled versions.

Lawn tractors for the T'Railway! Sounds like a fun ride! We've got a 2 year old Craftsman with a 24 hp Husqvarna engine, and a cup holder! Lets go!

Um, Dear, I think the engine is the part which isn't made by Husqvarna in our tractor. I think it's a Tecumseh engine, which I imagine is an engine building tribe of aboriginals...

I think we should do unlimited class tractor racing on the T'railway. My buddy Evs is a Tecumseh performance specialist because of a long experience with mini bikes in his youth.

He best be a suspension specialist. Although the trailway is maintained for snowmobiling it is also used by the locals all summer with heavy quad traffic. As such undulating is the nicest word i can think of but i have used stronger language.
I chatted with a couple from Maryland who crossed the island and she told me she never wanted to see another set of bumps/humps again. It tests your shocks and your straps.

I had a similar experience on the K&P rail trail in Ontario last year. I brought the KLR, which is not blessed with the world's most refined suspension. Everything was just fine as long as I remained standing, but that gets tiring after the fifth hour or so.

The DRZ is a bit more suited to the task.
