Just a quick pic before I headed out. Got new Anakee2's put on.
Apologies if this is posted elsewhere but who made the seat and where did the design come from as to be polite the shape looks like it will fit my derier a treat.
Knees in the breeze
Great Looking BIke.
Parker! Open your eyes mate. It's written along the top of the photo. i.e. "Russel Day-long."

Labor Day 2012, went for a 350 mile DS ride on my XC. Perfect. And 55 mpg out of a tank of gas! Woot!
Curious to hear whether you rode up from the west or east and whether you went back the same way. I found the route from the west a real struggle on a F650GS(single).
This seat is made by Russell Day-Long saddles in California. Search them up. I can tell you it is the most comfortable seat I have ever rode on and well worth the wait and money.
Nice bike...but really nice lawn!
Ain't droughts fun?
I'd put money on it NOT being astroturf....
Way up to Grossglockner
Great shot, hatschky!
Tried to follow some Jeeps into a swamp today. It didn't work out so well, so I left to find some fire roads.
It didn't work so well for them either, because they got three Jeeps stuck in a bog trying to pull each other out, and had to get towed by a bulldozer while getting yelled at by park rangers.
Sounds like pretty irresponsible off-roading to me.
Finally got around to squaring up the HB pannier frame so the bags sit reasonably straight...
Now to find a reason to go for a two-week test!
