I brought mine home last week. Wow what a bike, put 120 miles on it Monday before the weather turned bad, it is all I had hoped for in my new bike.

The Make ist Tuareg from Hein Gericke in Germany. But they are very old. Sometime you get one on ebay.
On the picture above the big top-tankbag is missing (you can zipp-off the side- and tank-bags):

    (I'm the old guy :lol3)

There's some GS Giant stuff at the end from AR MOA; Clay (1dzmotard) was too tired from riding 10k miles with me, on his "way there" to seriously compete.

I took this same bike 11k miles 4yrs ago to AK & back. "Ole Blue ('06 955)" now is at 65k miles. I traded in my black '03 955 on it in '07 with over 60k miles. The only bike I ever bought 'another' one.

Hard to believe it was 70 degrees today in January...simply had to get out for a ride. Ended up crunching a lot of gravel today and it was a blast :clap

Thanks, you must to with an inmate name like that (the black ones are the fast ones right? :hide)

I always keep an extra cold one for anyone passing through on a bike :freaky

Man I changed my gearing yesterday, new rear cush, fresh chain, and ran the wheel the cams to their fully forward position. I have done it on the dirtbikes, but what a difference on the tiger. One down upfront and one up on the back 19/48 - 18/49! IT ROCKS! It definitely (duh) robbed me of some top end, but 10-20mph difference isn't much here; with our curvy roads the triple digits aren't too common. It'd probably still reach the same top speed, but would need to be wound out. I found myself coming outa turns yesterday with the front wheel levitating like I was on a dirtbike :ricky :clap She always seems to surprise me lol
