Here's a shot of my Tiger taken at work on 30 April as I backed it in.

This was my second ride since accessorizing my knee with Titanium on 19 March. I had a plate and seven or so screws put in after a get-off on the DRZ went bad in Big Bend.

And yes, that is a crutch strapped to the seat behind me. A coworker was impressed by this and had to get a photo of it. She titled the photo "Dedicated" and it seemed worthy of sharing.

This met a goal I set for myself of riding again by the end of April. I had purchased the Tiger a week or so before the Big Bend trip, put a thousand miles on it, and left it for the first service. It has been torture gimping around with a bum leg looking at this shiny new toy yearning to be taken for a ride.

Need a few Kilometers before a first service.

Had to "endure" a ride in terrible late autumn weather!

Hope that doesn't mean Mustang parted my Steamer out...I'm ready to buy it back! Thumpers that need oil changes every 10 hours are tough to put up with.

A little Steamer goodness on a Sunday morning. Hope everyone is out getting their bikes muddy today!

Oh Crap!! Looking at this pic means either my headlights are about to die or my electrical system is not up to snuff. Those headlights are much brighter than mine!!

My Steamer was starting to get a little jealous of its "beaky" younger brothers...

Cos where you been guy? Last I heard you returned to Cyprus. You still there or are you back here now?
Either way really good to hear from you. And the Tiger - you still riding it?

Check out my ride report here under Ride Reports - the title is "Vietnam - 30 day Honda 250 XL Father/Son ride". The thread is generally on page one or two. I got back from that incredible ride just last week.

Brought it home a couple of weeks ago. Just installed the side cases, now waiting on the hardware for the top case. Can't wait for a good road trip!

Thank you..! I try hard to be a pragmatic, practical, function-over-form kind of guy. Hell, I've been riding Vstroms for the last 7.5 years! But when this bike came out, it was all I could do not to snag one, just based on it's looks alone. Managed to hold off until I saw the XC on the dealer floor. Test rode (a standard version) the same day and was done. Assimilated. Smitten. Fortunately it rides as well as it looks!
