    Hi there!
Yes, I ride from Portugal. It's nearby, 700 km and you're in Morocco. There you can ride as you want, it's a nice country to ride because you see different scenarios: Forest, Desert, Mountains, Seaside.
You can find some pictures\videos here from my last ride:

Sooo cool. I'm in the south of France, so all I have to do is descend through Spain. I'll put it on my wish list right now.

    Thanks,

    M

Nice lookin' Strom. What kind if tires do you have on it? Look more street oriented than my Shinko 705s.

I've posted an image before, but it's time for another. This is my 2008 DL650 in the wilderness of Colorado. I rode 3,000 miles round trip in seven days to camp two nights with friends in the Colorado wilderness. The Strom is pretty good on gravel. I am running a set of Metzeler Tourance--my second set. I'll buy again in a heartbeat.

Just mounted these up today. Glad to get rid of my bubbly Givi knock-off. I do a lot of computer work so I decided to mount a smaller one on top for my laptop and gear.

What kind of cases are those and how are they mounted?

They are Seahorse cases. The top an SE710 and the bottom an SE720. Both run about $45 and are super tough. They're mounted with $6 worth of hardware from HomeDepot. I drilled and plugged two holes to access the rack mount bolts.

    +1 to the Seahorse cases.

I bought a pair of the Seahorse 720 cases and mounted them on a SW Motech quick release-able rack system. They are much slimmer than running even a pair of Givi E36 cases (which I also have for it). These cases are mounted using a set of Happy Trails pucks, though I find that I pretty much always just leave them on the bike.

I also have a cheesy JC Whitney Trunk that snaps onto the Givi mount plate that you can see in the above pictures. To make the JCW trunk a bit more palatable I fitted the center lens with a zippy V-strom logo. It's just a piece of paper under the red bezel with the logo laser printed on it. ;-)

A few pictures from a gorgeous ride out to the coast. Highway 1 north of Santa Cruz, CA. Gotta love California in January! :clap

I'm so jealous. I got to take a ride down Hwy 1 from Santa Maria to Santa Monica back in September. I miss that road :cry

I put on 705's for a 5k mile trip, and hated myself for it afterwards. They're OK, but don't really do anything well. And for some reason, 705's + tar snakes = near death
