    I guess I worded that wrong. If I stand up and put my head in the clean air stream there is low level smooth constant hiss of air going around the helmet. When I sit down I think the overall sound level may go down but there is low frequency rumbling sound. I prefer the former. This also probably depends on how quiet your helmet is in the wind. I've had some helmets that the noises from the vents would drive you crazy.

    Yes it helped with comfort everywhere.I have two naked BMW's and I feel so much better on and off the bike.:clap:freaky

    That appears to be the +4", I just installed the +2" on mine with the madstad and my head and shoulders are happy, but I still get huge windblast up my body. I will be fabbing up some sort of deflecters to mount on the crash bars because I get lots of wind right over my knees that shoots up both sides of my body and right up into the helmet.

    flat footing is overrated. I flatfooted a cruiser for 6 years before switching. I'm much happier and more comfortable at 5'7"
