Kettle Creek State Park - last day of a 3 day 725 mile ride through forest and twisty roads of PA.
[Busapilot ]We are pretty spoiled with good roads and scenery over here on the West Coast of Wisconsin.
I posted this in a different thread earlier.
This morning I’m at Cooks Corner- the local stop in the OC hills and Massa and Tanaka -engineers with Suzuki come walking up and chat me up on the History of my Silver V-Strom—
Massa said he helped worked on the fuel mapping and I said so yer the reason so many of us had to get Power Commanders!!
Switching from an SV to a VStrom. I've only had it for a week but my body is very happy about it. In addition to being a better fit for my needs in general, it's a better match for the Montreal streets, which are are not exactly the smoothest.
Will make it mine over the winter, for anyone interested, I think those Givi bags and their rack will be for sale soon.
Nice bike hope you like it!!
You might want to consider keeping those bags-
Givi’s are easy on and off with a push of the button.
Adds to the multi-functionality of one the worlds best UJM’s-
Full hard bags including tank bag-
Soft Tail bag
Soft tail hard side bags

East Tennessee autumn rides are great!
I wouldn't go WOT right away. That could be too much air when you just need the right amount. I'd suggest steadily opening the throttle as soon as you detect a problem and hold it at the opening where it starts to fire. That's the point where the added air is properly compensating for the over fueling. Not cranking for more than five seconds at a time is a good plan. That can overheat the starter motor. The flooding can be caused by leaky injectors or heat on the tank from a hot engine, high ambient temperature or sunlight on the tank. Even after everything has cooled, the earlier heat could have sent extra fuel vapor into the intakes.
I think you are on the wrong thread.
