I am very fond of 4 speed Bultacos. Here is me on my 1966 Matador set up for trials. The bike is very close to Sherpa T spec.
The Mountain West Vintage Trials Association is hosting their final National of the year this upcoming weekend at the Haystack Mountain OHV park located northeast of Roswell, New Mexico. Info here -
The TY80 League of Extra Ordinary Gentlemen will be there to partake in the festivities!
More to come!
I've been playing around on my 1982 DT80 and what you guys are doing is much HARDER than it looks.I have trouble just rolling up a 2x8 for 10 feet
Thats the only prob with TYs..get them wet and they shrink...
I saw a funny combination (TY80 and adult man) in Bilstain (Belgium) last spring (0:36 and 1:00)
And more TY 's...
The League did well at the Mountain West Vintage Trials Association National in Roswell this past weekend.
We were voted "Best Appearing Team" -
Actually paid attention to the bikes on the morning of the Trial -
And had a spot of fun -
I really wanted to take more pictures, but I can never seem to do that during a Trial. Awesome fun!!
Hey Brewtus great pics! Let`s see the Boys came to give some one riding lessons. What was the score after the first loop? Oh yeah, 9 pts for somebody all weekend! Damn if I would not have been drinking I could of halved that score!
Thank God! At first, I thought that New Mexico trials riders were exceptionally large.
That looks like fun! I had a great time riding a Fantic 50 once- it worked better than my Cota 247... I think I need a small bike to match my shriking skills and musculature. Plus, it would be fun to look big!
there is something very wrong with you guys. get help.
We did. We convinced "Yosemite" Matt Webb to buy a TY80 and start his own team. The League and the TY Locos will face off again this upcoming Saturday in SanYo. Would you like to join in on the fun, LowPSI? The League would welcome you!
Thanks for the invite but at 6'4" I might look big on a TY 80
Hammer and I are both 6'3". You'll be fine.
You guys should be riding Premier Heavyweight bikes. Let the kids have the little bikes.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
13.1.1 PREMIER HEAVYWEIGHT: Certain pre-1965 era and like design, non-unit construction<o></o>
(separate, removable gearbox), four-stroke machine, 350cc and larger. Examples:<o></o>
BSA B32, Ariel HT., Triumph Trophy, Royal Enfield Bullet, etc.,<o></o>
Now that would be entertaining!<o></o>
The TY80 is simply more fun than a barrel of naked cheerleaders. We'll stick with it!
Depends on the cheerleaders, I guess. Maybe you were referring to these guys?
Ridenm has to have the strangest search engine settings to come up with all the off the wall finds!
