"The West Express Tour" is underway! :happay

    Ha! Anyone remember this game?

Two friends, one on a GSA and the other on a Bandit have taken off to Thunder Bay via hwy11 in the early hours this morning. The remaining four of us will be leaving Friday morning for Thunder Bay and taking the lower hwy17 route.
The furthest west I've ever been in Canada is Wawa, so everything beyond that will be new to me! I've come close to it, but this first hop of 1240km will be my longest single day at once. :eek1
We plan to rejoin as one group in Alberta and head north from there into the North West Territories. We don't have an exact route defined except for going west and maybe the Yukon. :vardy We'll see what the weather does.

Stay tuned! I will post pictures as we go.

Looks like Dave & his posse are heading East, now. Prince Rupert in the next hour or so. Crazy, pace. Great pics to follow, I'd guess. Previews on FB make me jealous.

Great pics Dave, this trip is on next years calendar. The shot of the "bugbusters" says much!! Not a big fan of camping with that population will have to move trip timing to laaate August!
    Keep em comin!

The Borden Bridge, North Sask. River. The original bridge was pretty awesome, coming down the hill through the only two back to back curves between Saskatoon and North Battleford. ( it was 1978, on my 1973 Honda CB 750, with the setting sun in my eyes :eek1....) Thanks for the memory.
