I'm looking for someone to do a very basic paint job on a car. I have a '98 Toyota that needs to be redone pretty much from the midline up. Clear coat is flaking off and paint is peeling in spots.

The car is basic transportation for my son.

Does anyone know of or trust a Maaco shop or someone else who could help?

    Thanks

My wife and I are looking to relocate out of Alaska back to the lower 48. We're strongly considering Tucson to be closer to her family in SW New Mexico and give my family back in Baltimore and much shorter trip to come visit.

I'm currently a on-premise beer, wine, and spirits salesman that's a CSS, level 1 sommelier, and cicerone level 1 with about 13 years in the beverage industry but have sold other things in the past. I've got an art degree with an emphasis in photography. I'd like to stay in wine, and/or eventually work my way to an MFA in photography and printmaking.

Wife has a degree in hotel management and tourism, currently is the assistant general manager of a major seasonal hotel. She's looking to move out of hotels and wants an office manager role.

Any leads or advice would be greatly appreciated!

There is a budding wine scene east of Tucson, and the Sierra Vista area.
I don't have any close friends in the business but I can ask around.
Some jobs in medical office manegment in SV and Tucson has a pretty good job market.

Recent transplant to Los Angeles and actively looking to find a great career match here. My last company back east liked me so much they still have me working part time for them remotely until I find something out here.

In retirement, I've hung out my shingle as the BMW master Farkler, service and restoration guy. If you own a BMW, you're in luck. $ 45/hour pickemup and redeliver is an option. I'm in Camarillo, CA. I am also a dealer for the best and brightest aftermarket accessories and am known for my attention to detail, super clean installations and great customer service. These, BTW, aren't my own words. Search the various threads and read what my fellow inmates have to say.

    Hi friends,

Going to be in Cottonwood, AZ for a weekend in October and am wondering if I could rent somebody's bike for a few days. Hopefully a smaller dual sport to putt around on.

PM me if you got any ideas. I tried calling local rental shops to no avail. The ones that have machines won't let you take them off road and they're crazy expensive.

    Hi!
I'm a live sound guy/tech/engineer in the LA, Orange county and Inland Empire area. I work on the side for a small company who rents out and runs sound equipment for all types of events. If you are looking for sound for an event, send me a message and we can talk details.

I'm also looking for more work doing live sound. Hopefully get on some call lists for when someone needs help or an experienced tech to cover for them. This is a side job for me so I'll mostly only be free on Friday night and Saturday, but should be free almost every day for the next week or 2.

I can set up, run and strike a system. I can work with installed systems and I can troubleshoot. I've been doing this for about 10 years or so now and have worked with many different types of systems, analog and digital (and one that was completely PC based). I've worked in theatres, churchs, public events and concerts.

    I am not a DJ.

    Thank you

Hello all. First time poster from the Santa Clarita area.

I've ridden for 20 years but recently swapped out my R6 track bike for a KTM dual sport. I'm still pretty new to the off-road stuff and I'm looking for people to ride with. Aside from some short stints at Hungry Valley I've done most of my riding at Rowher, plus the connecting trails around Bouquet, San Francisquito, etc. Usually I try to knock out 3-4 hours of riding in the morning on the weekend before it gets hot. Once it cools off I'd love to do a multi day trip. Any advice or riding buddies welcome!

    Chuck

Or post up a ride plan in this forum and see if anyone is interested. Make sure the thread title has date, rough location and perhaps a short description of dirt/road.. something like:

So. Cal. 9/17 - DS ride San Francisquito Cyn to <somewhere>. 75% dirt

There is a lot of traffic here, make your thread title stick out to the target audience. There are also area specific ride threads like http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/l-a-adventure-rides.318376/

I need a motorcycle hauled from southern California to Northern

Hello all, anyone driving up from SoCal or down and back from Bay Area? I need a reliable capable person to move a bike from Hemet CA up to Vacaville or anywhere near the Bay Area. Willing to pay a fair rate for your time and trouble. Before fishing on Uship I thought I'd reach out to the community here. Bike is a Honda CB-1, 400cc/4 around 400 lbs. Thanks,

    -Bill
