Well of course nobody picked it up when it was there, they didn't want to dig it out of a crotch....
My daughter came home from cape cod...dad dad dad I gotta tell you what happened!!! I caught Crabs!!!
After they picked me up, she explained that they were fishing for them
If you fish for crabs, do you crab for fish?
I usually wiggle my pole for them
("Pictures at 11.")
BTW, this was a PITA, mostly of my own making.
I must have creeping senility, chemo brain, onset of Old Timer's Disease, whatever. First I left the house without my camera. I usually use a separate camera since I can't post with my phone. I wasn't that far out so I rode back home for it.
Then I rode to the tag site and found ducky. Got distracted cleaning mud off it before putting it in my top case, and then hearing something rattling loudly coming down the road toward me (which turned out to be a UPS truck).
Closed my top case and rode away to have lunch. At lunch some distance away, realized I had not taken a picture. Rode back and got the picture. Sheesh.
Tag site as the crow flies is probably less than 15 miles from my house but it's due west and there are two big north-south ridges in the way. Yokun Ridge is right behind my house and then there is the ridge along the NY/MA border. The roads don't go straight across so it is a lot longer on the ground. That plus forgetting stuff and it took me a couple of hours to get this done!
No next tag (Nextag?) until tomorrow.
Alderman Rd., Middlefield, MA.
Find this view. Consider the tag shot to be bike with the mountain that's right over the windshield.
I put the duc under the rock behind this pole. It is NOT the pole closest to the tag shot, I thought that pole was too close to a nearby house. It's the next pole north of that, which is more isolated.

AWM, Xmoto and myself were headed over to Hunter for the Empire tag when it was nabbed just as we were getting ready to go. So then we decided to go nab Barry..... flat Barry that is!! :eek1
Barry will be headed the spa and then to Moab and will be out of service for a few weeks. I have a stand in for the time beingand will get him in play tomorrow.
