thats funny. your right, a pair of protaper SE that my brother needs for kuggumugga this week.
I think the OEM shift lever is too exposed but I couldn’t find a foldable one, so finally I made one.
I use the standard one and add a Touratech folding ending from a BMW GS.
It works great.
Fitted a Puig Dark tint screen to mine. Unable to road test it yet.
I made a cheap splash guard for the upper rear wheel area. Cut down a piece of an old trash can attached with some strategically placed tie wraps. NO, I have never owned a KLR.
Great idea. I just picked up some truck size mud flaps to make something for mine. I didn't think about using a trash can!
Beautiful bike! I almost bought the black, but since my last bike was black (DL1000), I went with blue!
I just traded my DL1000 on a 2012 S10. I LOVED my Strom, hoping I will like the S10 as much!:
omg this is beautiful, love the white, wish we had that option in the US!
I own a KLR and have been wanting to upgrade my Tenere with this splash guard. Can you tell me if the rear tire clears the splash guard with full compression? I was thinking corrugated plastic but your trash can sounds good.
Did you do this on Earth Day?
those figures seemed to be taken when traveling down hill....
And just for something different
yes, I march to the sound of a different drummer
That 1 in 527 grade will do it every time.
You are right. the opposite direction I only managed 4.5085388994 L/100Km
Of course I always take lab grade measuring equipment with me at all times.
I couldn't stand the temptation. I'm posting that in the WTF thread.
Thank you Bob and your drummer.

I didn't think the black ones could do that.
Not sure how you even get close to 4.5 / 100km... The lowest i got was 5.5/100 while breaking her in - means easy riding up to 4000revs max, once the ODO hit 1000km and the revs could ho slightly higher - there went my 5.5...
Ride hard, die free
