Where did you get them from? any pictures to see how you strapping things to the top of the panniers?

Need a strap that will go through the slits on the Trax

If you have the OEM panniers it fits nicely behind the right one.

Just finished reading this thread from page 200 onwards!

What a ride! I've seen Rema come and go, suspension discussions, engine discussions, oil and tyres but the one thing that runs through the whole thing is just how good these bikes are .....................................so mine is on order:wings:rayof:happay

I have ordered a white one, like this.

And then had to go with the Worldcrosser kit as I'm a bit of a tart :sweeti

So that will get it more like this

The dealer has also ordered a secondary accessory kit which includes the Akrapovic exhaust, panniers (in black) and the fog lights. I can have it if I want it or if I don't he will fit it to his showroom bike but as its is more shiny things I will probably have it!:deal

The bike is one of four white ones expected in the UK on 20th of August.

It's gonna be a long three months before these guys get to meet their new big brother!

Wow.
So, not only are you getting the best paint scheme - you also own a mint TDR250.
I'm not jealous.
Not at all...

All the best. You'll love the S10.

Use a Mini fuse. Twist the connectors 90 degrees and plug it in.

Do you have the list of parts that come in the world crosser kit? How much do they charge for it (in your currency). Haven't heard of it being available for order here in Oz.

You have a beautiful collection of bikes!

Have you tried take-offs from stops with T and S?

I'm pretty sure I feel a difference between the two but very little compaired to before the mod. "T" to me tones it down just a bit. I'm sure I can tell more between the two when I try it riding two-up.

Thanks.

The dealer showed me the English version of this German spec sheet re the Worldcrosser

And also showed me a sheet for the secondary accessory "kit" which may be just a Yamaha UK "thing" as I haven't seen any mention of it anywhere else. The kit contains, the Akra., panniers (in black) and fog lamps.

Just out of interest the Worldcrosser kit is around £1000 UK ($1578 US).

And whist talking of pricing I was interested to see any number of mentions of the Super Ten being cheaper than the BMW, well, not here it isn't! I visited my local dealer and was quoted £9800 for a GS Adventure with no options at all, the Super Ten is £10,400.

Note. These are not UK mainland prices, I live offshore and tax free, UK mainland prices would be plus 20%.

It seems the S10 is cheaper than a R1,200GS only in North America, excluding Mexico. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

It may be due to tariffs imposed on Japanese imports back in the day when everything was made in Japan.

it was quite funny here in South Africa....

In Jan12 Yamaha SA put the price of the S10 up from around R138 000 to R160 000 - which is more than an equally equipped BMW

The dealers were furious and I doubt if many/any S10's were sold...

Suddenly in May12, they reduced the price to R140 000 again - greedy farkers!

In the mean time the Explorer has been launched here at R144 500 and the Crosstourer at R150 000
