That's the second biggest windscreen I have ever seen!
It's a V Stream tall. I was originally planning on triming it down. After using it
I'm getting spoiled by the total dead air behind it. The last off road ride I removed
it and rode without a sheild. This trip had temps in the low 40's to mid 50's on
the slab. Everytime I stuck my head around the sheild I'd gasp. I agree it looks
awfully big, but it sure is comfortable to hide behind.
This day ride ended riding at night to finish. If I had taken it off as originally planned
I would have been miserable with a straight on wind chill and open face helmet.
I've got the Parabellum large touring screen, keeps the cold out & I can hear the iPod with almost no wind noise.
That's the second most studly picture of pluric I've seen. Must be the new windscreen keeping the hair "just so".

Everytime I read this, I keep thinking, it shouldn't be that big of a difference. But I saw a posting in another place, about how the S10 had poor performance numbers, it was because they compared it in "T" mode versus "S" mode. I know pluric probably only knows "S" mode, so such a drastic difference does suprise me. I guess the clutch mod is in order then....

I can't tell if you're joking or you're serious. I had a GSA, and it's been a long time since I've ridden one. While in Colorado this past summer, my buddy and I were doing a bit off pavement exploration and we traded bikes on our way back. I felt his GSA had the clunkiest transmission ever, a buzzy motor and nowhere near as smooth as the S10's when cruising. I preferred the brakes on the S10 better. My buddy was very surprised how smooth the S10 twin felt compared to the boxer.
Pluric: For the places you take your bike, a dry clutch like on the GS wouldn't last you very long! Then you need to BringMoreWallet.
To anyone considering a SuperTen, don't test ride it unless you bring a mini fuse with you to short out the clutch switch.. Lifting the restriction in the first three gears transforms the bike. I hadn't realized just how much until I reverted back to stock to see how it feels.. Off the line, it's a huge difference. It's gotta be the cheapest performance enhancing mod ever! You'd never see that in a Touratwat catalog!
I put a switch on the clutch mod, not sure why I'd want less power. As posted above, I finally tried it with the switch turned off after riding it with the clutch switch bypass in the ON position for several months.. You'll notice the biggest change when you're taking off from a stop.. Initially the bike lunges off the line, then feels like it's being held back.. Once you do that 50 cent / 10 second mod, the beast is unleashed. There's no going back!

This was a 2010 GS. He said it was the last year for a motor mod. It was stock.
Honestly it wasn't even close. My bike was in the S mode, has had the reflash done
and the clutch mod. Just by the seat of the pants it felt way stronger, Passing
mode 80-100 it just pulled so nicely. I thought it would have been like his old
1150, not at all. Come to think of it the last 1200 I was on was a new 06
and it was no where near this bikes performance.
I can see where people have been out test riding a couple models and been less
than impressed with the Yamaha's street performance. I knew it wasn't a barn burner
and this class doesn't demand that. Still I hate getting that schooled by a Beemer.
Halloween, I was giving out stuffed toys. I'm a bit of an addict to those claw
machines and had four garbage bags of plush toys to get ride of.
The leg room isn't that much different:
82 degrees on the Tenere, 81 on the BMW. The leg positioning is slightly different - more so than in the picture above, but it makes it feel like there is more leg room, but my knees are pretty much the same. I had some photos of me sitting on the GS and the Tenere in the same position, very, very similar photo angle and it shows pretty much exactly the same as above.
I had a GS Adventure seat on the GS and lower foot pegs. Made it more open than the Tenere (though not as much as indicated in the image below, it's just a little less, still more than either Tenere or standard GS):

The Tenere feels small when sitting on it compared to either of the GS models. The 2013 GS model feels a little closer in size to the Yamaha due to the new cockpit layout, it doesn't feel as far away as on the current model.

The Tenere feels like a super sized dirt bike to me. Sits high and has more leg room.
The BMW felt smaller, lower and my 32" inseam was bent more. With my junk knees I notice
that right off. I really was paying more attention to the motor. It surprised me for how much
spunk it had for a boxer.
Not really unfortunately. Just before going to work ...
The boxer in the 2010s is pretty nice, but I had the feeling it vibrates slightly more than the older ones. Not certain though as I didn't have much time on the pre Camhead.
The same engine in a R1200R is just plain fun - street bike though if you're not LostRider ...
It did have more of a vibe sense in the seat and pegs over the Tenere. Not enough to
be a deal killer for me. We both use an Airhawk seat pad. The bar vibe was about the
same. The Beemers mirrors were a tad clearer.
Yeah, that theory doesn't work because I was on the Beemer. You can see Erick
is one of those skinny mutants we 'normal' size folk have to pity.
At last! This weekend I could ride the ST with the 21 " front wheel.
It has become a fat enduro!!
If you like to do off road with this bike definitely worth making the investment, it's great!
By road the direction feels lighter, with less aplomb especially at high speed or high speed corners. In slow corners I almost like it better than the 19”.
In off road the change is incredible, the bike swallows all the bumps and in technical rides the improve is great.
Best of all is that between the increased diameter of the wheel and the rear suspension I have increased 3cm the ground clearance.
Now I can do trial with it!
