Naw, the whole reason was to be able to finish the Tic Tac Toe game on the garage ceiling.
(Don't be so angry.....)
Well I was excited before, and I caught all kinds of hell for that.
You do have to admit you seemed happier with the boner.
I got my Rumbux in the mail, and installed. I'm a happy camper. Well compared to Mikef500, I'm probably a sourpuss. But hey, one beer later, some help from my wife, threw in an oil change, and it's done!
He did, didn't he!
You're going to let that stop you?
Do the obvious and SHOOT BACK!
That and the huge difference in how well the 21" tracks off road, makes this a must have upgrade for those who prefer the dirty side of riding. I bet a few of your fellow S10 owners will do the wheel swap now as well.
The 21" wheel just looks right on your Tenere. I have never liked the looks of these large dual sports with the goofy little rims on the front so they can have street type tires fitted.....especially the blue ones
I'm not surprised to hear that. Black does seem to be your true color.
I prefer the dirty side of riding, but I'm short and not willing to give up another inch of seat height, and I have no interest in going to a tube type tire. Plus there's the whole skid plate interference issue... I'd say this is far from a must have mod as of right now.
It does look good (and everyone says it handles off road amazingly well), but one of the advantages to the S10 over the T800XC, F800GS, and 990ADV in my book was the more standard front tire size (for more tire variety), and lack of tubes.
Just carry a spare tube when you are going to Pluric your Super Tenere like a WR250R.
Butter rims, dontcha no?
I hope my post didn't make you feel blue
Me neither. I kind'a figured ol' Rick would like it big & black in one end, with a big, bright orange Dreamsicle in the other!
This is yet another reason why lefties are God's chosen people...throttle and pistol control at the same time.
Tubeless rims for BMW and KTM are just a phone call away.
Yamaha should have put 21" on stock. But if U want get more clearence beteween wheel and heders pipes u should change front fork like he did.
Butter, it's not just for Teneres. Okay, maybe margarine for the Tenere and real butter for the BMW.
Either way a tube and tire irons are now standard equipment.
Meh... Now if you were pitched sideways in feet up powerslide and shooting a pop can from a fence post at 50 yards...............
All The Guns All The Time. I always wondered what that meant.
